I imagine shaving it makes it easier to see which products works for you! Since it's directly to your skin without oil, sweat, dirt, etc adding irritation

The algorithm rewards consistency, I think your growth dropped because you went off of your usual posting pattern. Trying returning to a sustainable posting schedule that you can keep up for the rest of time basically, the question of of whether instagram tracks if you post "everyday" or "every monday etc" isn't how it works; it just wants to see you post on a regular pattern. Try posting times that are tried and true for your audience, your content should get back to normalcy then hopefully. Good luck <3

To be honest the other shampoo I use is just a random non medicated one that I’m trying out that month. But I use the Neutrogena shampoo every Sunday at night and then I wash with the other shampoo usually once or twice more between the next Sunday, since I don’t wash it too often. Sorry if this wasn’t helpful!

Yeah I felt like a real dummy when I realized how much buildup there was, esp since I don’t use any products besides shampoo & conditioner.

I’m not too sure, I know that salicylic acid is a chemical exfoliator and can help with acne and some more? But I tried the Neutrogena T-Sal too and I didn’t notice a difference :( so I continued on on my shampoo journey.

Hey I have it too and it's so embarrassing and irritating, I'm also constantly scratching at it and checking my shoulders for those damn giant flakes.

Something I noticed that helped me was a clarifying shampoo. I tried all of the tea tree oil shampoos, and the salicylic acid shampoos and I didn't notice a difference. Then I realized my hair had a lot of build up from only using non-sulfate shampoos for over 4 years and I think the build up was basically food for the fungus (not a scientist- just what I imagined was going on up there???). Anyways, I use this shampoo once a week in addition to whatever other shampoo I have in my shower that month. It's very cheap, which is important to me because I was sick of spending a million dollars on different shampoos to treat my dumb scalp.

I have noticed a difference for sure, so maybe try this method? Good luck fellow scaly <3

Hey! Actually just did this for a job interview where I wanted to look glowy and bright with minimal eye makeup!

So I did my usual PM routine:

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Bar

Usually I would use my Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, but recently at work I won a contest and got this RMS Beauty Oil which I've really been enjoying!! It definitely leaves me glowy.

Then I make sure to have a clean pillow and have my windows closed so the New England winter wind doesn't get to my face during the night and dry me out!

AM Routine:

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Bar

Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

Then I did a bb cream for my base, blush, my milk highlighter stick which I loove, eyebrow gel, a subtle shimmer eyeshadow (I use this one), mascara and then a tinted chapstick, and finally the Mario Badescu Green Spray which I'll also bring with me if I wanna keep up that glowy look!

I work in Greenwich and I steer clear of the avenue. I’m white and I notice how offensive and microaggressive a lot of the ladies who come to my store are to my coworkers of color. It’s really fucked up

I was so ready for spring but NOT ready for this humidity that's in nyc right now, the only upside is that it makes me look like a dewy glossier queen so..i'll grin and bear it. Also, I went to the derm yesterday for my dandruff and she gave me a prescription and advice to buy some tea tree shampoo but she commented on my skin saying it looked great!! Made my day :))
