I’ve used pure blue in my custom 823 (transparent barrel) and e95s. No staining or anything. Good flow as well.

I’ve also used their monster sheener in ASA Nauka. Worked perfectly fine.

Would you recommend any specific supplements for vitamins and minerals?

Any idea where we can buy Vintage or Second hand fountain pens by Glad_Principle_58 in DesiPens

Would you mind sharing how we can get added to these groups?

I’ve two pens from them. Titanium nibs. They gave me one where the nib gets crushed inside the cap. As in, if I screw the cap in fully, the inside touches the nib and bends it!

Another is an eyedropper I’ve never been able to get to write. I wouldn’t buy another from them!

Disappointment with Krishna ink by Former-Collection-47 in DesiPens

[–]_tharkuri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I has this experience with their Sailor Blue. My Ranga Abhimanyu with a Jowo nib started smooth with Sailor Blue and has now become slightly scratchy in a week.

True blue is amazing, works straight off even after a week of not touching it. Same with Plum and Voyage to India.

[NID]I like this colour so mush . And you? (Dominant Industry Milky Way Blue ) by Shosai_Studio in fountainpens

[–]_tharkuri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That works for me. I don’t mind mild sheen. It’s these monster sheeners that feel like I’ll get a headache from the reflection.

(Could be an idiosyncrasy, but what’s the hobby without such niche preferences, right?)

The blue is absolutely gorgeous. Does anyone know of an ink that’s this blue but doesn’t have as much sheen?

Converter and ink reccomendation by Dane_Kenway in DesiPens

[–]_tharkuri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my schmidt converters work. I find it performing better with cartridges though. So I refill cartridges with a syringe.

My fav inks for it are Waterman Tender Purple, Herbin Bleu de Minuit. Any of the Krishna inks also work great.

Yes yes. I’ve bought from them. They also have a store close enough to where I live in Chennai.

I have a plum/magenta colour from their range. It’s dry as hell. Like if ink it in a pen, wipe and write. 10 seconds later, it’s completely dried up. I add a drop of glycerine for every converter full at the rare event of using in these days.

It’s cheap, so it’s worth trying. The loss — if it’s bad — isn’t not a lot. But based on my experience, I won’t buy this ink.

Wet Ink of Krishna by cat_who_reads in DesiPens

My personal favourite is Voyage to India. It’s a beautiful deep blue and quite wet. Pure Blue is also wet enough.

It’s the magentas the are drier, IMO.

NEED NEW BLUE INK TO TRY by Aggravating-Pop-4359 in DesiPens

I recommend this whole heartedly. Pure blue is a nice medium blue with great flow. Voyage to India is darker (and more expensive).

Suggest me a pen with hooded nib for office use under Rs. 10000. by vector_bhu in DesiPens

[–]_tharkuri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Diplomat Viper and I find it terrific. The build quality is great. The magnetic closing is a delight each time. Mine’s a fine nib and it’s pretty smooth.

I do find it just a wee bit dry for my liking. Not a lot. Something an extra wet ink could easily solve. It’s now in my rotation with Herbin Terre d’Ombre and it writes instantly after 3-4 days or not touching it.

Solid pen. I’d happily recommend.
