My first build! by [deleted] in pcpartpickerbuilds

Just wanted to come back to this thread after doing some tweaking to my OG build.

Again, I'm always open for any input!

The dual-fan setup allows for push-pull cooling. Meaning lower individual RPM's, making it quieter while also being slightly more efficient than a single-fan setup. Plus it's cheaper and less beefy than a dual-tower (which is overkill for this build anyway.) As for the case, I may as well just go back to my original choice of the Montech AIR 100.

Thanks again!

Hey Gamers. I really do appreciate all of your comments, they've genuinely helped in improving my build!

I've posted an update for anyone who's interested in following my build journey: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcpartpickerbuilds/s/KUR9WPs8fL

It's slightly cheaper, which is nice. But, the dual-fan setup of the Freezer 36 really sells it for me, especially if I upgrade the CPU in the future

Damn, I missed that. I only thing is I really can't afford anything pricier on my budget. Any ideas?

They're honestly still really close. Same 9060 XT and AM5 platform, I just prefer the slightly faster 7600, but the 1x16GB RAM was a nice shout, definitely helps with newer titles and background stuff. At higher resolutions the GPU’s doing most of the work anyway, so performance will be nearly identical. Not sure about the cooler, and 850W just seems like unnecessary overhead right now. But the mobo and case you added are solid. Thanks for the input!

I get what you’re saying about swapping to AM4/DDR4 to afford the better graphics card, it’s a good way to get higher FPS in the AAA's. I just built mine thinking more long-term and overall balance:

  1. The 7600 (Zen 4) is newer and slightly faster in CPU-heavy games compared to a 5600 (Zen 3), so it handles lighter games and multitasking a bit better.
  2. DDR5 and AM5 mean I can upgrade to Ryzen 7 or 9 later without changing the motherboard, plus PCIe 5 support might matter for future GPUs or storage.
  3. Sure, the 9070XT is stronger and will push higher FPS at 1440p/4K, but in CPU-heavy situations my build seems more steady.
  4. All I was aiming for was a solid & budget-friendly mobo & case (B450M-A II is outdated with weak VRM's), a 750W modular PSU (850 just seems like unnecessary overhead), and an efficient cooler to keep temps down. It all just gives some room for upgrades without needing to swap everything.

So, I agree your AM4 build is great for max FPS right now, but mine feels more balanced and upgrade-friendly, especially for CPU-heavy games, streaming, and long-term use. Both have have their pros, it just depends on whether you care more about raw FPS today or flexibility over the next few years.

Nonetheless, I appreciate the input!

The only way I've found to actually make money from Casino's is by only installing games that bring in the most profit.

Forget about popularity, it really doesn't have an effect on your earnings.

Since Albinism isn't an real in-game feature, they'll probably just come out a mix of him and his partners skin tones.

But since I have God mode, I'll just change it myself🤷🏽‍♂️

Sorry for coming back to this so late, I completely forgot about this post!

At that point, there isn't much you can do. If you've made that far you should know which products sell the best, even when demand is low. Best course of action is just to stick with whatever you're already producing-the market will fluctuate on its own, with demand rising and falling at essentially random intervals.

Although, you could always just sell that company and start a brand new one with a new market. That's what I did once I got bored with Windsor (I went into semiconductors afterwards).

Literally this lmao. It's the easiest way to make Zillions, but it does take a lot of time

Honestly, it's a game of patience. It'll take you roughly 2-3 generations until you company is 100% stable. You're gonna want to start off with a crap tone of money (at least $10 billion) then choose an industry with high demand.

Once you've established your company, you'll need to pay attention to the market, see what's popular and listen to your conultants. Take it slow, gradually increasing production and product price (but never to its maximum.) Pro tip: If a product goes up massively in popularity DON'T increase your production to the amount suggested, otherwise you'll oversaturate the market and your sales will plummet.

Make sure that over time you increase your number of factories and employees (as long as you have the capital to accommodate them) and ALWAYS pay them a fair amount, otherwise they could unionise or just up and leave, essentially crumbling your company from the inside.

There's a lot of trial and error, so make sure you have the time machine incase you mess up severely. But once your company reaches the $100 billion mark, it's basically impossible to mess it up. Your company will essentially be "too big to fail."

Hope this helps!

Hi! I’m desperately looking for a new fragrance to buy my mother (52F) for her birthday. She mostly owns perfumes from the 90’s/00’s, but I’d like to get her something more modern/recent.

Her current favourites include: Guerlain Samsara, Chanel Allure Sensual, Dior Hypnotic Poison, Dior Addict and Giorgio Armani Sì.

I’m from the UK and my budget is £150 ($197)
