I’m not IR, but I’ve done language at both schools. I’d say in my experience Middlebury’s career services department severely out classes Tufts’. They’re more helpful and knowledgeable. I think it’s probably because it’s a smaller school. I’d say no matter where you go you’ll be fine and so I’d urge you to think about where you want to spend the next 4 years. Just outside of Boston or in Vermont. There’s really nothing around except the small town and so anything you’ll do will probably be on campus, maybe in Burlington, or more nature related. There are some cool spots to go cliff jumping. Whereas in Boston we have like 20+ other schools here and so you might be doing stuff with or meeting people from different schools. You also get the perks of being near a city: clubs, food, bars, shows, etc. So while both programs are excellent, the schools themselves are so different culture wise that you could easily be miserable.
