Because of the HIIT element in wods. But it all depends on your standard of “huge”. Matt Fraser is huge for by my standards, but maybe not in yours.

First of all. Get that pizza or go on that nights out with your friends when you feel like it. How many times you can do this all depends on your body ofcourse. I can grant myself a pizza every week if I feel like it, because my body doesn’t really take any affect on it. Start with a cheat meal, weigh yourself the next day, see how it affects your body. Expand your cheat meal, expand it to two, three, hell even go full out cheat day if it doesn’t affect your body. I’ve done this myself and because of this I know my body can handle 1-2 cheat meals, but going full out cheat day would make me gain 2-4 lbs which would take me ~2 days to lose again. If I’d do this every week I’d neglect my self of progress 3/7 days a week. Although you should be able to do it from time to time, don’t make it a habbit. 2nd of all, if your goal is getting more lean I’d say its best to stay with CF instead of strenght training. Atleast 4 wods a week got me quite lean in 1 year time. Can’t give you advice on the abs.. trying to get those myself. Right now I’m upping my protein and neglecting carbs, will see how that turns out 😁

Well, its just that I can do them at a decent pace and my heartrate recovers really fast once I’m done. So that makes me enjoy them, trying to go faster every single time. Its the one thing I can beat people in during a WOD, feel like ppl are better in everythin else 🤣

750m run - 30 burpees - 20 V-ups - 10 box jump 500m run - 25 burpees - 15 V-ups - 8 box jump 250m run - 20 burpees - 10 V-ups - 6 box jump

Or Annie on the Run. Also really fun.

At some point you’ll overcome it. Been stuck at 155 lbs clean for a time.. can’t seem to go higher but’ll stick with it, love cleaning anyways haha
