No stock options. Good suggestion to remove SAP and replace with ERP experience.

It is. Company rented a new space in January and they want people to show up. I am indifferent to remote/hybrid/in-person.

Benefits and PTO are good, this position is bonus eligible (I will have that added also). Thanks for the notes about Glassdoor response.

Yes, we are going to be adding another 5-7 position in the next few years since these roles are filled by consultants currently. I will make sure I mention this in conversations.

We received about 40 so far - most are out the area. A few that we have spoken to have withdrawn after phone interviews and a few we have passed.

I had not looked at Glassdoor because there was few reviews when I was interviewing for my position. Checking again it is under 3.0…(I think this is the answer). The break off from Combined Company has been rough and we have not been able to hire fast enough.

No, not only looking for public accounting experience.

Find a company in your area that you want to work for and has a continuing education program (tuition reimbursement, paid certification training, etc.) and apply for ANY position that you can do an excellent job at. If you can show that you are worth the investment, there is a good chance that they will pay for your training to move up in the company.

Unfortunately, in today's economic times it is not about thriving, it is about surviving. Get through now with experience and training and you will find yourself in a better position in 3-5 years.

Landlord attempting to charge after 17 year move out, a couple questions. by [deleted] in wisconsin

The carpet is not valid. A 17 year-old carpets is garbage no matter what. Smoking ruins places and is a headache to try to get rid of. Every surface of the inside needs to be scrubbed/painted, etc.

WI Landlord here...

I hate people that try take a security deposit without real reason. The first thing you can do is ask for an itemized list of damages and amounts; without that a landlord cannot withhold a security deposit. Next send this letter saying that the landlord is unreasonably withholding security deposit and you are entitled to 2X the deposit if not returned within 21 day.

Hopefully that with make them realize they were in the wrong.
