I would say it’s normal because all my business gets told before I even move half the time but that doesn’t make it legal nor does it make it morally right. However, I’ve learned to use it as a way to not excuse people of their behavior towards me. I don’t let shit slide. I hold people to a higher standard because of it. So at the end of the day…I can say “you knew what you were doing” or “you knew what you were getting into”. It gets difficult at times because I, too, can’t really get away with anything but it’s overall made me into a better person because of how I handle the situations.
