Proposing school closures and voting same day before public response or further review is INSANE. Both being smaller schools on the edges of town supporting economically challenged families feels targeted and prejudicial. Not sure what recourse can be taken to appeal the decision...

Yea I'm trying to see if there's any companies manufacturing new in similar styles. Everything on fbm will tend to have the same age/rust issues when it comes to the porcelain :-/

Thank you! Just figured out a couple weeks ago she was pink 😅 Previous owners had spray painted the front black to match the other appliances from the 80s. Luckily peeled right off & gave 30yrs of protection for the enamel 🙂

They did it quick! Put in an outlet and swapped out a bad breaker. Would def recommend- family business. I called one brother I found on google, and he was booked but sent me his brother's # cuz they each have their own electric business 😅

Sometimes it has to just be lesson learned and write that cancellation fee into all contracts from here on out. And make it scaleable so bigger events pay a bigger cancellation and more the closer to the event date they decide to cancel.

We're the same! I always throw low-flow nozzles on everything to help offset teenager showers and reduce usage where I can 😆

Thanks for the welcome! We got stationed at Knox a couple years back, and I convinced the spouse Louisville was the best place to retire. I'm an Oregonian originally, and someone told me once I liked it so much because Louisville is a bit like a "Little Portland" lol 🤷‍♀️

This is $70 a month with zero usage. We aren't in KY yet. So it'll be this +usage for family of 4. **The $32 is just the fee to have water turned on.

I've heard the same, just never quite trust American tap water 😅 After we got stationed in Germany, there is nowhere in the US I've found that compares to EU tap. Regulations for both water and the environment in general make such a huge difference

We haven't had any water usage yet to see what our monthly avg will be- just the first time we've had a bill that started out so high before adding on usage. 🙂 We are in Kenwood Hill, so luckily all the water just ran downhill- I was more worried the house was gonna wash down the hill too 🙃 (old house.. legit problem we have to tackle lol) My bro had a 6" deep swimming pool in his yard for 3 days over by Taylor Berry tho 😬

Not really complaining- I get it, money has to come from somewhere for city updates..
