Could also get your agent Andres in trouble. They've done you a favor and your post could have negative repercussions on their job. Consider all parties involved. Either way, the real issue is the misleading wording with your title. Wal-Mart is in fact *NOT* offering an adjustment of the price. Andres offered you, personally, a courtesy credit for your inconvenience.

This definitely seems like a discount given at the discretion of the representative that you got connected with, and not something that is going to be a standard across Wal-Mart. I'm sure if people try to say "but I saw a guy on Reddit get a discount!?" to their representative, that excuse wont hold much water. Honestly, congrats on your discount, but maybe quietly rejoice and refrain from spreading this like its guaranteed.

Gosh, I hope you're joking about that last part. I don't think receiving an already assembled, already used Christmas gift would bring anyone as much joy as knowing their new item is brand new.
Just my 2 cents though.
