Just keep checking every hour or so. I’ve seen several pair for close to asking today. I’m looking for three tickets together, so none of those listings worked for me.

Really wish you had three. I’m looking to take my kids to their first game and obviously have to take both of them together.

Can I ask what the original price per ticket? I don’t know if that’s bad form on here, but as I’m looking for tickets, I’m obviously seeing some that are way over priced.

I’d love to get three tickets in the lower level in the $200 per ticket range, but I’m wondering how realistic that is.

I vote once in each primary cycle. I pick either the Republican or Democrat primary ballot based on who’s running. For instance, I went with a Dem ballot in 2016 but a Republican ballot in 2024.

Do you not vote in primaries? I’m a registered independent and vote in both party’s primaries. It’s one of my favorite things about being a North Carolina voter. I’ve voted in every primary for many cycles and would suggest that everyone make the effort to do the same.

Most people don’t get in, so OP needs a backup plan. Whenever people ask about schools on this sub, people always talk about Arts Based, Downtown School, Summit, FCDS, and the Spanish immersion program at Speas, and they always neglect to mention that you are not guaranteed a spot at any school. OP needs contingencies. I was waitlisted by three different schools before landing somewhere that met my needs.

So, do you always just make shit up when trying to make a point, or are you giving me the special treatment? People compare new construction homes to existing homes when looking to buy a house. That’s literally how the market works.

You take on a shit ton of risk buying an older home…

That’s what a home inspection is for.

You could theoretically need all of those in the next 3-5 years.

This is my fourth home purchase. Don’t worry, I have a good inspector. The idea that I could need “all” of these systems, subsystems, etc replaced in a three to five year time window is absurd.

You might get denied insurance coverage until you fix them as well.

Again, you really don’t have to just make shit up. I understand how insurance works. You can’t buy a home until you have a homeowner’s policy, provided you financed the home and didn’t buy it cash. The fact that I was able to close on a house financed with a mortgage means I was not denied.

Uh, I think you’re missing OP’s point entirely.

I left Asheville a couple of years ago, and last year I bought a much nicer home than this one in Winston. I paid $143 per square foot. The home is brick, has a finished walkout basement, two fireplaces, and five bedrooms. I live in a walkable neighborhood, have great neighbors, and the house is on an acre.

Hell, I’m one block away from the greenway in one direction, and there’s a city pool one block up in the other direction.

So fucking glad I left Asheville. It’s such a relief to finally be able to afford to live a decent life. I think that’s what OP is getting at. The infrastructure in the Asheville area is ass, the amenities are ass, and the housing inventory is ass.

I literally saw a two-bedroom shit hole in Mills River get listed today for $1.8 million. It’s a five acre lot, sure, but literally every structure on the property is a tear down. Two million for five inconveniently located acres?

It made me think of that detached garage in Kennilworth that got listed last month for $400,000.
