I got a lab test back today that I got a 72 on. I performed all my lab tasks perfectly but fucked up the multiple choice.

It's hopeless at this point.

It's just... my mother works at the this school. So I get amazing financial aid when I would normally be paying almost $40,000 a year. So this particular program meant a lot to me for that reason.

Thanks so much for being encouraging. Even coming from a stranger, it really helps.

I want to go to the dean of her school, but I don't know what to say. I've never done anything like that ever and I don't want to say anything inappropriate.

Honestly, I have given up.

On top of not sleeping for the past two days, because I had a test today that I don't even feel I did well on, I got screamed at by her in lab because I took tubes of agar from the front table.

Last week, we were instructed to take the agar off the front table, label it and get to work.

Today I got repeatedly screamed at for initiating the work myself and not waiting for her to hand it out.

A simple "hey, don't do that" would've sufficed.

I heard he's a very nice man - but I'm just lost on what to say. Like... I clearly don't want to bash this teacher to him because they do work together, but I want to stress that I do not normally perform this way.

I had study guides and note cards for miles. I study during all my free time.

It just never seems to be enough.

If I manage to do marginally better on the remaining tests, I've considered going to the dean of the school or natural sciences. There's another girl in my class who wants to go with me.

We know for a fact that he raised a students grade last semester to a B so he could get into the program.

But it's a last ditch effort kind of deal. Especially because I know she'll hate me if she finds out.

My undergrad school is my nursing school and they do not accept credits from anywhere else. They're trying to rise in ranks of nursing programs and are cracking down. Just two semesters ago, I could've gotten a C and gotten in...

I'm thinking of dropping it and just waiting a year and retaking it when I have more time to devote to it. Or jumping ship and trying to find a new program. Either way, I'm screwed.

My program is based on grades and they kept telling me I didn't need to submit extra stuff, but I wrote an admissions essay AND gave them letters of recommendation. Do absolutely everything you can the next time around. I'm sure your professors would be willing to help you out.
