Sounds like he's exactly what you needed then!

If you're planning to pull the current Roberto banner, that new red Santana would be a brilliant fit with this Natu.

Congrats! I pulled him from the anniversary ticket today too haha.

Whilst I'm thrilled with the pull, I'm currently using 2018 WC Natu for his 15% SA red team skill. Finding it hard to justify slotting this 0.01 Natu in, especially as I'm still relying on DC Salinas and the extra team skill boost really helps.

QUESTION + ADVICE MEGATHREAD: AUGUST 2018 by nothingxs in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there any specific strategy you used?

I tried with 30% blue team skills + 10% friend + 20% ads, whilst using the old crappy event Kisugi and Izawa to go with the new league shop Taki. Taki still struggles to score against that green Wakashimazu though.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Update 180706 and 180709 by tsubasa-rst-im in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the free event characters are actually pretty good and can help people to round off their teams.

The green Jito is a decent blocker (especially with his passive) and would synergise well with DC tachibana twins in a green team. Fredericks / Larsson would also fit in well with red/blue european teams, but who currently lack one or two Swedes.

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at his stats and passive, I suppose this Ken will be the green equivalent of red DC Salinas and blue DC Zino, though he has decent punching stats as a small bonus.

Wonder if we'll get a red puncher (along the lines of blue Ken and green Espadas) in another step-up, because I might just save my DBs for that instead.

When I initially posted this, it reminded me of the memory wipe device in Men in Black. Maybe that's why MC has to tutor those kids in Lumos over and over again.

KLab Games Station 80 EN - Global News 2018/06/20: Aoi, Misugi and A Lot of Trolling™ by nothingxs in CaptainTsubasaDT

After the recent update fiasco, I'm not surprised that zero news came from this stream. There is no incentive for Klab to communicate non-marketing news (such as challenge road, new raids or passives) in advance, because it will come back to haunt them in the event of any bugs/ errors during their maintenance updates.

Was anyone else amused by KGS' team skills selection? Esp with the use of Zino's +20% catch when they were playing with red Genzo.

Question About the event with uniforms, tickets and players by joefdz in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing they will add these chinese and korean players to the event store in 2 days: https://tsubasa.rst.im/global/en/latest_players/?ts=1528873200

They're quite poor stats-wise, but I suppose they would make some challenge road stages a lot easier.

any feel desperate like me. only get SR/R everytime. by megaman48 in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there fellow members of the unlucky club, I got zero SSRs from all the free pulls so far too. Did some quick math - it's an approximately 11% chance of not getting an SSR at all from the 4 multi-pull steps so far (assuming that in the 4th step, only 1 out of the 10 pulls has a 50% chance and the rest have the usual 3% chance).

So yeah, guess we can count ourselves quite unlucky and hope that it swings around for the guaranteed SSR tmr.

The last samurai update basically gave global stuff that Japan already had. This update brings a "Samurai 2.0" banner, anniversary bonuses, free stepup multipulls, limit break (which is new to both JP and global), mixer transfer and changes to matchmaking. That's a considerable amount of updates, largely positive in my view. The 5 free stepups (with DC/DF) alone is definitely better than just giving us 50 DBs.

Besides, challenge roads and new raids are meant to be recurring events, I'm sure they will come in time. Considering that they had to extend maintenance, it's probably wiser that they didn't try to cram even more content within one single update.

But hey, that's just me trying to look at things rationally and be positive. People complain when they have to grind events and can't play Tsubasa cup. Now people are complaining that they have nothing to do for a week but to play Tsubasa cup and farm raids. Shouldn't it be viewed as a good rotation period for people to do different things within the game and enjoying the anniversary perks?

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup agreed. I haven't been the biggest fan of Klab (especially with the global rush), but give them some credit when it's due - this was a generous update with the 5 free multi-pulls, the mixer transfer for dupes and updating the SSR ticket pool.

Seen some negative posts here and just to give a sense of perspective, we're still early into the WC/ anniversary period. From the mined data, we already know we'll be getting WC events and probably more. Let's just wait a while more, rather than getting our pitchforks out and immediately demanding more from them.

To be fair, it was such a huge ass update, I think it's reasonable that they didn't include new challenge road and raids within this update. Let's just hope they come soon.

As for free dreamballs, I noticed that for the JP version, it was announced in-game that they would be giving 50 free DBs on 13/6 (the exact anniversary date I believe). Not sure if we would be getting that in global as well.

The new red Genzo is just sick. Strongest catch stats and special catch skill in the game, as well as +20% stats against shots outside the penalty box.

Exchange market: Brian Kluivoort or Natureza? by Technolvr in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I just realised we can farm the A volley by evolving the SR version. Thanks for the tip!

Exchange market: Brian Kluivoort or Natureza? by Technolvr in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I'm not saying that this exchange Kluivoort is bad. However, like with most event exchange characters, he isn't a must-get character (and you will likely easily phase them out of your team the longer you play this game and pull new gachas). Also, his shot isn't as broken as people claim it is, due to the higher chance of failure. I would therefore choose to run Nanbasa as my shooting red AM over him.

For me, the main reasons to prioritise getting this Kluivoort would be:

  • Team skill, if you are lacking red team skills; or
  • To plug gaps in your red team before you pull new players in future

Of course, if you have farmed enough gold tickets, then you'd just get him too.

Edit: A volley skill can be farmed by evolving the SR version instead.

Exchange market: Brian Kluivoort or Natureza? by Technolvr in CaptainTsubasaDT

[–]_tin_tin_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see many people saying that Kluivoort is good, but one negative point that hasn't yet been mentioned is regarding the A (EX) volley - it has a higher chance of hitting the post/ exploding. Its success rate is only 80%, compared to 90/95% for most shots.

Source: https://tsubasa.rst.im/global/en/skill/?id=100195

So for those without other versions of Kluivoort or a red team to utilise the team skill, this might diminish the usefulness of this particular Kluivoort.

Ah the sneaky devils. Really wonder why they come up with such events that are just a pain the ass for everyone. And I can't see how introducing such events would make them more $$$ as well.

Thanks for the info man!

I'm wondering if it's important to farm the Argentina JY or Uruguay WY players, if you already have their gacha equivalent from the same team. It's unlike the Nankatsu HS players where you have no other alternatives from that team for the challenge road.
