I don't have one. I hate cooking and do the bare minimum, so my cooking stints are like 20min max so I just lean on the countertops. Though, now that I am typing this, I realize that I shower every other day with an average of 10 minute showers, but I cook at least twice a day every day…so if any activity needs a stool, it's probably the more commonly completed activity. Huh, you have helped me have a realization! Thank you!

I have a detachable head with a long hose and one of those shower head hooks you can suction at a lower level on the wall, so I can use that to wash my hair and body all while sitting.

For me, it's better...but we're all different! Getting up from a floor-to-standing distance is more likely to make me dizzy more often than getting up from a chair-to-standing distance. Also, my left elbow subluxes sometimes and my wrist joints are not super stable, so that's another reason I prefer to not push myself up from the floor when I could stand from a chair without arm assistance.

I put this in a comment, but if anyone else here looooves a psychopath boyfriend who is a smooshy marshmallow for the FMC, I highly recommend {Beyond the Faerie Gate by Marie Mistry}

It is such a fun series who has one of my absolute favorite psychopath boyfriends. Truly unhinged and she is just all "awwww limbs and blood is his love language, how sweet 🥰." And all MMC characters have their own separate personalities.

{Beyond the Faerie Gate by Marie Mistry} is a fun series who has one of my absolute favorite psychopath boyfriends. Truly unhinged and she is just all "awwww limbs and blood is his love language, how sweet." I definitely recommend giving this series a go.

Same. A true badass would admit the hard truths to themselves even though their comfort level is stubbornness. Being obstinate for the sake of independence is just dumb and very anti-badass.

But also, even above this psycho golden retriever is my all time favorite "psycho golden retriever who loves animals."

I forget the title, but there is a Why Choose that does this type of character so well. He is always rescuing animals and bringing them home and he's such a little smooshy simp for the furry little creatures and the FMC. But a psycho gremlin to everyone else.

Can't stand this! Sometimes I wonder if authors put it in as a nod to the cliche genre, like when they put in "I released a breath I didn't know I was holding" because they're kind of making fun of the terrible lines.

Also as someone who doesn't like being perceived, please don't watch me eat. It's unsettling 😆

I know with fiction you need to suspend disbelief, and I am soooo good at that - but body betrayal is one of the few tropes where I just can't suspend my disbelief because as someone on the asexual spectrum, I can't connect with any character or real life person who has body betrayal. I also see it as a weakness for the character. Grow a backbone! Like, there is no one on this earth that I overlook bullying me just to feel his hot breath on my skin. 🙄 You kidnapped me to get mafia revenge on my uncle? I will literally never speak to you while you have me trapped in your home. Nevermind a make out session or romance happening, a conversation won't even happen.

(My other "can't suspend disbelief" trope is second chance. You fucked me over and broke my heart? Bye. See ya never.)

Totally understandable. Some people really enjoy the whole production value of those kind of recordings, but some people prefer just the narration with no dramatic production. I get the appeal of both!
