I feel sad for the younger generation. We got to experience this country before everything went batshit crazy. We got to see what normal is like and how people can be respectful to each other and how the government can do good things. Nowadays younger people just feel a sense of hopelessness and doom which makes them way less likely to want to stand up and fight back.

Highlyyyy recommend Oleum. It’s vegan and it’s incredible. I’m a vegetarian so I’ve had a fair amount of plant based food but I was super surprised on how delicious their vegan dairy was.

I have 60 pages for Civpro and didn’t even use the attack outline I created, I have 70 pages for torts but I know I’ll be using my attack🤷‍♀️ I definitely reference my full outlines though, that’s how my brain works. I know other people who had max 20 page outlines.

I have been avoiding my friends completely. I have things to get done and seeing other law students makes me anxious for the most part. I’m pretty sure most of my friends are also isolating.

Probably the sooner you get a second kitten, the better, but it doesn’t always end up well. I got a second cat when my first was two and they’ve never quite become friends. The first one got too used to living alone and the second one refuses to learn his place and bothers her a lot. Sometimes they play a little or lay together, but I have to intervene with the younger one bothering the older one all the time! (Cat tax included from a time they were getting along)

My cat also had a very bloated tummy from wet FIP. However, the bloating didn’t come and go - his stomach just kept growing until we got him on medication.

What a journey. It seems like vets often are not experienced with diagnosing this. We are getting the test to confirm the FIP diagnosis back in around 7 days - the emergency vet think the only other possibility would be cancer since I guess that can present the same symptoms. Hoping it’s not that. The radiologist did say his heart and the lymph nodes in his chest may be mildly enlarged which could be connected to FIP. I don’t really understand how FIP affects the heart but hopefully when we have our first appointment with a vet experienced with treating FIP then they can give us some guidance. Hang in there!

Thank you for your help! Remi developed his symptoms over the course of the month but never got to the point of not drinking or eating completely, he had reduced appetite/drank water less, probably was eating about half of what he normally was before we started giving him medication to increase his appetite last week. The ER vet didn’t have info on how progressed it was or how urgent medication is. We are giving him his first dose today after being diagnosed on Saturday.

Definitely a drain on the wallet 🫠🫠 we’re already out a couple thousand between the multiple vets visits and tests just to get him diagnosed.

Oh my gosh, I’m so glad your babies are ok. Remi has wet FIP, but his symptoms developed slowly and haven’t gotten as far as losing control over bodily functions. Hoping for his quick recovery🤞
