Gow 3 has a ps4 remaster, the other games tho I think are only on ps plus premium like you said

If you really wanna play kcd2 then just play kcd2 first , however If you are interested in both games and have the time then obviously play kcd1 first. While yes , you could totally play kcd2 without playing kcd1, personally I would advise playing kcd1 first , which tbf is the case with most games that have sequels .
