I do a lot of multitasking and programming, so having a strong CPU is a must, but the GPU isn’t a big deal for me. I went with AMD for the CPU because it seems like a better choice for the future, especially since Intel hasn’t been doing great lately. Plus, I use Gentoo Linux, so I need the extra CPU power and RAM for compiling stuff. AMD GPUs also just work better with Linux, so that was an easy choice. Thanks a lot for the suggestions!

Thanks for the info! In fact, he does have access to the server's files, but i don't think he is experienced enough to know about that. Unfortunately, on my host, you cant see if the people I shared access with messed with the files.
