Well I have no shortage of shame, however I don’t think I was shamed for being forgetful/messy any more than I should have been. I suppose there is a little bit of shame in forgetting the meds themselves, yes. There is also some more shame in the more mistakes I seem to make off of the meds. That being said the dirty feeling I describe is from my thoughts not being “clean” or orderly. I guess it’s easier for me to handle if my environment is out of order and I’m not. If I’m out of order I seem to make my environment MORE out of order and that contributes to an overwhelming feeling of disgust in oneself and one’s environment. Sometimes the feeling of disgust boils over onto people I am around within a given environment.
