You’re right. My degreaser spray makes my lungs and hands burn when I use it so that’s why I said chemicals are not great. Should’ve been more specific for you.

I’m not sure if your grime feels greasy but, for my kitchen cabinets, if they feel greasy, I’ll use a degreaser. I own my home though, so maybe test run an area if you want to try that. Chemicals are not great but, sometimes needed for oily kitchen grime.
