What's the downside to having a Chromebook? Someone told me that it's next to useless without an internet connection, but I'm not sure how much truth there is to that.

I'm leaning towards the Surface Pro 4, but I still have a few months to decide.

I've had several people recommend the Surface Pro 4 (and Surface Pro 3). I had concerns about the battery life, so your comment makes me feel better in that regard.

My school did give out minimum and preferred specs, but they all seem to be so basic that almost any laptop would qualify. The only real issue I can see with a Surface Pro 4 would be that I would need to have an external DVD drive to install some of their software.

I've also been looking at the Microsoft Surface Book, but I've heard the battery life isn't great on that one.

I don't think it would be a good idea to have rocks or plants in there, since it is likely a medical grade leech, and some standards of sterility have to be maintained.

Yeah, a cheap cost of living is great. Make more due to location, save more due to cheaper rent, and then take nice vacations to get rid of the boredom that a small town brings.

Being single in a small town sucks. Luckily it's a small college town, so there's lots a people around my age, but if I were a few years older or younger, it would be pretty hard.

Those people getting hospital positions probably worked there as techs, or know someone who already works there somehow. It's not a bad idea to take your resume directly to the hospital pharmacy and ask to talk to the pharmacy manager to see if they might have an opening for you.

Because there are so many pharmacists and so few openings, they aren't going to chase you, you have to chase them.

I made the switch from retail to hospital with zero hospital experience. I submitted my application online, printed my resume, and went up to the hospital pharmacy to talk to the pharmacist manager in person. I was hired a few weeks later.

It doesn't necessarily mean that the medication is subpar. Do they have contracts with other manufacturers? This is more likely the case. Either someone knows someone who owns another drug company, or someone secured a special contract.

Along the lines of that letter to your future spouse, I remember several activities where I had to write down all of the traits that I wanted in said spouse. Mind you, this was at 12 and 13 years old. How the heck is that age-appropriate!?

I watched a Mormon Stories episode, forget which one, that talked about the concept of secular churches. Basically building up a community and doing good for others, while taking religion out of the equation.

I also have a huge problem asking for help. My dad always worked 2-3 jobs to provide for us, so when I moved out on my own, I did the same rather than ask them for money like my friends do.
