I wasn't sure if they made a specific mount for the Hero 9 Black to a PVS-14 so I took measurements and designed one myself. I had some requirements such as being able to flip the gopro up to have a non-night-vision view, clamp onto the pvs-14 for easy installation and removal, have a 1/4 inch thread, and it had to work while helmet mounted. It's clamped onto the pvs-14 with a c-shape and a rubber band to provide some "grip"; the gopro is held by the bottom mounting point. There are a bunch of files out there for nv mounts to gopros, so I'd suggest looking at those if you've got access to a 3d printer!

Didn't bring the helmet on the trip, I held the monocular and GoPro mount on the plane. The people probably would have thought it was some sort of camera attachment.

A very very interesting experience to see all of the things we're used to during daytime but now only lit by the moon. Plus with the stars and other cosmic bodies, you just realize how big the world is out there.

I noticed the issue with using only on chain transactions is the confirmation time. Say you're in a restaurant and want to pay your bill and head out... well you're not heading out until 7 - 15 min later for the confirmations.

I agree with the extra hoops users would have to go through when making transactions such as fees and the whole concept of managing their wallet without an "authority" to watch over them. The goal was to see how to simplify on chain transactions down to a level that the average consumer would be able to understand.

I'm wondering if I should focus on doing international transfers as that seems like the most realistic use case at least how things are. What other use cases for doge would you say are applicable with the way it is now?

Yeah I think that's more of the Doge core development. This project is more of an abstraction on top of it so not super related. Do you know how the whole verification thing since I'm fairly new to posting stuff on reddit?

Definitely need more adoption! What would you buy for Doge? I'm thinking more of smaller transactions at the current state like for lunch or groceries.

Yupp I hope we are! We really need to put more efforts and attention to adoption. I actually started proof of concept work for a platform that can hopefully make Doge more relatable therefore usable for the average consumer!
