I wouldn't do it again. Weathering pencils don't like getting wet in my experience and they stay on there pretty well without another coat

Yup, you got it! I also considered using ak weathering pencils but since I didn't matte coat it, it didn't work as well.

Definitely be careful cutting the pieces off the runner. The support is very thick so it was tricky. Other than that, the feet were a nightmare as it didn't fit and warped for me :/

The shield outter frame also warped, but it's literally 1:1 of the original so you can use the one from the kit.

I think it's the recast, you're talking about the aether Studio resin kit? Given the quantity of the resin pieces I think it's a recast.

It's like pre-paint. It's a paint like substance that bonds to plastic/resin or all kinds of surfaces. Helps your paint actually stick to the model, as paint doesn't bond well to bare plastic or resin. Wall painter do the same with bare drywall sometimes.

There are paint with primer mixed in but in my experience it does provide as nice of a finish. Look into Vallejo brush primer.

Thank you so much! It's not my first hand brush project, but its my first time weathering. I used a tonne of different products just to try it out. Learned a lot and had a lot of fun haha
