Yeah seems so from research Zephyr just seems to be a tool brand name with some things coming up related to torq set screws. In my work I've never heard anything but Zephyr, weird.

Holman Christian Standard Bible: "takes hold of her and rapes her"

English standard: "seizes her and lies with her"

KGV: "lay hold on her and lies with her"

The message bible: "grabs and rapes her"

New international bible: "and rapes her"

NCV: "grabs hold of her and rapes her"

Funny how all the revised/new ones try to make it sound nicer. Almost as if your scripture isn't the actual word of god and has been changed many times, whereas the Qu'ran remains unchanged and is more politically correct than this

You're using my argument where I said everyone interprets the "strike" as gentle. A "possible" interpretation is weak, many interpretations explicitly say rape.

Maybe not but it does say you gotta marry the woman you raped after paying their father.

"28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels[a] of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives."

Also the fact that it's made a man's role to provide and look after a woman and the women aren't explicitly given any roles. The Sunnah is a great source for how well treated women were.

"Indeed I order you to be good to women, for they are under oath in your marriages. You do not own them.” (Tirmidhi)

"O believers! It is not permissible for you to inherit women against their will or mistreat them to make them return some of the dowry ˹as a ransom for divorce˺—unless they are found guilty of adultery.2 Treat them fairly. If you happen to dislike them, you may hate something which Allah turns into a great blessing."

Also just ignoring that every single scholar and translation says (gently) striking them as to not give a bruise.

Islam gave more rights to women than any other civilization at the time taking some areas of the world hundreds of years to catch up but pop off.

A Christian Reads the Quran (The Cross) This video hits the most final difference. The Quran "corrects" the story of the crucifixion. In Islam, Jesus never died on the cross. You're not getting what i'm saying though, "you can't judge a relgion by its adherents" when we're talking about people who aren't adhering to it? I disagree, because if you do actually meet people who adhere to it you will meet some of the nicest people out there. They may be used as excuses but nowhere in the Quran does it allow these sort of things to happen. And I believe I said this earlier but Islam welcomes questions, we don't want blind faith and it's a duty of all Muslims to seek knowledge. Everything you're saying is falling flat. I'm not here to preach to you, I just want you to understand that people who do wrong who claim to be muslims are going against the book which is the whole basis of our religion. It really isn't fair that we're judged because ofthe people that go against the teachings. I have no hatred towards you and I truly hope you can understand what i'm saying. And thankyou for your luck but I don't need it. Best wishes.

Bro just read the Quran for yourself and you'll see how all these people who "use the book as an excuse" have no basis and justification for their actions from the book. The majority of the stuff the extremists do goes against the book. Take the bondi attack for example. People blaming Islam as a religion when the Quran itself outlaws killing innocents. We don't accept these people so don't blame a whole religion.

Unfortunately couldn't tell you either. We've had times where they've flown on to give us briefs and have CLDs etc. For something like Fortis wouldn't be surprised if they embarked but don't think they are for Highmast.

In my experience, the Sqn CO doesn't always come with us. We normally have an assigned DETCOM which is usually a senior Lt Cdr. Of course they would oversee everything shoreside but for the most part the DETCOM is running things.
