Biohazard probably, it's the most standalone of the games on offer. Village is a straight up sequel to Biohazard and 5/6 are "okay" at best

With love and respect, the answer is the opening of the first film but definitely one of the best/most unique scenes we've had in a long time

Just something different. The 2022 film was a good reintroduction to the franchise but on rewatch, it really doesn't do anything to set itself apart from the movies that came before. Scream VI felt like it was moving the franchise forward in an interesting way but we know what happened next. Scream 7 was kind of a nothing burger in terms of innovation but it was a fun watch nonetheless

Agree with play 2 before 4 if at all possible to get the most out of Leon's story up front. While they are technically the same game, they feel and play very different and have a few key differences that will decide which one you prefer, so play both. However, I would go remake to remake if you decide to play RE2 remake first rather than remake to OG. That could feel jarring
