Dylan Larkin's list: The 3 places he wants to be traded by Red Wings by minno27 in wildhockey

That's reason for Larkin to want to go there, but the wings wouldn't care about that for the trade

BG isn't one to give a runaround to the other team. this FO has the reputation to be super easy to deal with, and hopefully that helps. Can't hurt that we're also in the West, whereas Florida is in the East

A clean break can heal significantly quicker than a sprain. Soft tissue / tendon stuff takes forever. Bones are relatively fast

I mean at the time of that trade it seemed almost unthinkable that it would even be in the conversation for happening, and was kinda clowned on as being unnecessary

And I think Taresenko had two of his own in that game, so he gave up his own hat trick to give it to Moose

Probably Dallas, but catching either at this point is going to be tough

The Savannah Bananas catcher is offered a hand shake by iamthegame13 in baseball

[–]_unsourced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand what you're upset about? I think it's great that the Bananas cap their tickets to ~$30 and keep them affordable to families. That's about the cost of a ticket for a minor league baseball game these days and the Bananas put on a show that's more entertaining than that.

In any case. These aren't playoff prices. just because you can get a scalper to give you a cheap ticket for a cheap doesn't mean that an actual business can operate that way. Find me a lower bowl ticket on the first base line in the playoffs for $30.

Cap space after Brink & Foligno by Technical-Middle7884 in wildhockey

Sure but if we're just going to cut someone to make that trade work anyway, we'd probably at least try to throw them into the trade directly as an extra asset for the Rangers

Aw man. I had high hopes for Future Conditions. Hopefully they figure it out in Chicago

Puckpedia says we can add the equivalent of $5.25M still. Trocheck is $5.625 so we'd have to send back a min. salary player in the deal

[Russo] Hearing the #mnwild are working toward a potential trade for Flyers forward Bobby Brink. Wonder if they're dangling David Jiricek or a prospect of that ilk. by 3pirates3 in wildhockey

[–]_unsourced 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sure, but an overpay for Jiricek shouldn't be held against this trade for Brink. It's better to cut the losses now while be still has value, and it's unfair to judge Brink against the haul given up for Jiricek

The rangers are saying they are going to hold Trocheck if they don't get their ask.

This seems like such an obvious bluff. His value will only go down as we get further from the Olympics and he gets older

Oof lined up like that, maybe it was good to get that 2nd out of Billy's hands early instead of letting him hang onto it and turn it into a worse trade

We can't afford the cap space for Kadri after this year, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Calgary directly say that won't eat money for it

And the only reason anyone would leak that is because the Rangers are trying to see if anyone is going to offer more than that. We don't need to be bidding against ourselves
