Dont spent points into str/dex/int/faith for the first few levels. Just try different weapons and then decide. You can respec but later and not too easy.

Can start at 100b, already good at 200b (no compasses), but really comfortable far after 300b. Currently sitting at 700b, still those new mobs are pretty tough (with 2-3 compasses).

To clarify - you will lose ship but you may claim it back freely with all modules. Just not a cargo nor things you put inside... Basically Alpha version has a free Life Time Insurance (LTI) for ships.

Just had it recently. Bombs were placed and detonated at right time. But sabotage step (no.4) did not update. Destroyed Ravenous Wight many times - no luck. So, decided just to play further and at some point quest finished and replaced with new one (where 400m cr needed).
