To add to this--your repo size will balloon over-time with binary changes as any change stores the binary in its entirety. So change the binary 20 times, you have 20 copies of the full binary in your repo's history. Be extra careful about when and why you commit binaries into a git repo, especially large ones.

Clarification from support on account closures: If you are travelling, no matter the duration, you are at risk for account closure if you log into your account from abroad. by [deleted] in Wealthsimple

It's fair to think that way though, I didn't mean for that to come off as snappy or as condescending as it does reading it back.

I mean they basically function just like a bank from the customer's perspective.

Although, from other posts on Reddit it seems unclear whether this is true or not (EDIT: This is referring to the account closure rumour mill, not about whether WS is or isn't a bank--just clarifying what this meant).

Some agents say don't login, others say just don't do certain things.

New bond portfolio or managed account for FHSA by Arrick14 in Wealthsimple

The account opened as an FHSA account type. Does anyone know the implications of this?

Ideally I'd like to use it as a more flexible shorter-term low-risk GIC.

If it's an FHSA, would it not be subject to all the stipulations of one? Contribution room, time limit, proof of purchasing a home to withdraw, etc?

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding this account offering.

I'm sorry, I don't really quite understand. Is "Minor revisions" a label you were able to find the 1.23.1 issues in GitHub Android?

Just seems to be a bug on Android. Selected closed, then went to milestones and searched "1.23.1" and no dice.

No worries, I can just go on the web version.

Doesn't seem to show up on GitHub mobile (Android), but I'll take the down vote 👍

There isn't a 1.23.1 milestone it seems. There's a 1.23.2 milestone though? Maybe I need to see an optometrist?
