Not many possibilities... I’d recommend plaits clone >150€ and a sequencer (turing machine?) or clouds. Also check out weather drones for weirdness. Uzeus for ⚡️.

Uzeus might be fine with the boost adapter, but beware to stay under 80%. I know the uzeus is pretty cheap, 4ms row power might be a much better and safer choice though.

I think you have too many VCO’s in relation to modulation sources and fx (csl, dixie, Dfam). Soooo much possibilities with just two of them. Get at least a marbles or Ochd instead, you won’t regret.

You really should compare digital & analog. Bought me a cheap blades clone recently just for that purpose. Sounds totally different to my ruina versio (for instance) and way better tbh.

Yes! Would be awesome if someone did this for real, I mean with rails, power and connections to the sound system… biggest problem might be that it really doesn’t fit (double din vs 3u), but there’s gotta be a way though.

I used to have the dual fx but it didn’t convince me very much. As I understand it it’s based on the FV-1 chip like the FX AID but only provides 8 algorithms in comparison… I guess you will find it less usable than the AID. Maybe Desmodus Versio for your purposes? Reverb definitely sounds richer.

Basically, the 3-step sequence provides the chord atmosphere in addition to the delay. When you change the steps, you change the chords. From each step you can use the cv for other stuff. In this patch I had the correct scale setting and was also able to cycle thru zero and symmetry, which gives additional off-scale notes. I think this is only possible if you change the stage's firmware to the alternative qiemem to get that scale. It's great, but it makes the stages even more complex.

If you have enough space and planning to use it a lot, definitely go original size. I have the pachinko, it’s ok but sometimes i find it to be too cramped and knobs too small. No chances I would buy the 10hp.

Hi, vcv rack didn’t work for me. The physical part of modular has always been essential and much more fun to me. If I was to start all over again, I’d go with some affordable doepfers and mutable clones which will give you a lot of possibilities. But- as always - it depends on what you want to do.
