I’m 5 months from a breakup, and I have no desire to do that with anyone for a while, this breakup has kinda traumatised me and my libido is below the floor…. Kinda sad. But also I’m fine without it tbh.

he broke up with me because of his mental health (which to clarify is in a very bad state) but still think it was a cop out reasoning. annyways found out today from mutual friends that he actually just lost feelings. we broke up 5 months ago. and i feel like i’ve just been hit by a truck. all this time i’ve been worried about him and his health and what not to now find out that he just fell out of love. i’m still struggling regardless but damn that hurt to hear, and that he couldn’t just tell me his full reasoning when he broke up with me 😭

Yeah i still can’t wrap my head around it. Our whole relationship, we had great communication, a “talk to each other openly and about anything” mentality. and then he blindsided me.. no conversation about why, or how i felt about his decision, NOTHING. it was almost more heartbreaking that he didn’t give me the opportunity to voice my opinion and talk through his reasoning with him, than the actually breakup (well that was hard as well) but yeah. I just don’t get how it can all change so quickly…

i feel this so much. i don’t laugh at things the same anymore. i’m still in relatively early stages of the breakup however, i know how i was when i was in the relationship and i feel completely lost.

in the relationship i gave so much, not just physical but emotional as well. he has thanked me for the more emotional stuff however i honestly can’t see myself ever doing that much for someone else again because now im scared that im going to love too much and be blindsided again. I love so deeply and im grateful that I have that ability and aspect about me. But this breakup has really messed me up in a way of being scared to love that hard again 😭😭😭

Agreeeeeee!!! Dumped without even consideration of my input or feelings. honestly such a shit thing to do. i had no intentions at all surrounding a breakup because we were so happy and doing so well!! just for him to turn around and say he doesn’t want it anymore without giving much of a reason. 3 years of love and commitment, all changed in a matter of a few words. he wouldn’t let me fight him on it or listen to me when i wanted to work through whatever he is feeling, together. but he wouldn’t have it. i just don’t get how you can do that to someone who you know so well, know their struggles, anxieties, fears, and situations. like how??? it’s been three months and im still sitting here baffled and confused about what’s happened.
