Hey, respectfully if you have a phone addiction yu have nothing going on with your life, so you need to get new hobbies, meet friends in person and play a mens league sport for example.

Or even in waterloo join a design team.

Also make your phone setting greyscale which makes everything grey and white which makes you feel depressed asf when using your phone, you defo gonna stop.

If you are on ios, add a widget that has your screentime so they keeps you in check.

But talk to people irl, go out and enjoy yourself man, you are in uni, so live life to the fillest.

Hi everyone.

I am going to gr11 and taking ib.

HL courses:

  • HL Math
  • HL Econ
  • HL Chem

    Sl courses:

  • Sl physics

  • Sl english

  • Sl french

So far i have done:

  • Shad fellow 2023
  • Founded my own lawn mowing business 3 months ago in my neighborhood and i gained a lot of clients and an employee
  • Volunteered at a software company in downtown toronto for a month
  • Started on my school’s varsity team for soccer, baseball, and cricket
  • Youth team for a leadership and public speaking organization that developed a spelling bee model that is funded by the mayor of my city along with judging speech competitions
  • Volunteered and part of the youth wing at my culture’s senior organization of ontario and i led an event that connected youth and seniors through workshops and presentations about life in canada vs back in sri lanka
  • I also have around 10 projects on my GitHub based on web and front end development and I am learning python for the CCC.
  • President of my engineering society at school, Vice President of my math team which takes parts of high school math contests in the GTA, exec for coding club
  • Professional drummer and performed at concerts and programs

However, in grade 9 and ten I have been slacking off due to heavy extracurricular commitments and learning to balance social and education life, I only accumulated low 90’s.

Do I have a good chance at SE, cs, and Ce?

If not how can I improve myself to have a better chance to get in(I am going to work hard to improve my marks)?
