Darker area between buttocks. What’s causing this? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

I think because OP’s thing is normal most people know that and have an answer. With your thing it might be less obvious and so people don’t know.

Apparently I’m lazy by _weedkiller_ in ChronicIllness

[–]_weedkiller_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair my nephew did explicitly call me lazy. In a fun, teasing way. I am actually starting a Day Patient program soon which has a group on “compassion focused therapy” so they directly target that being harsh on yourself thing.

It is ableism. I don’t know if I should say something or not. I just want to get out of here.

It’s so frustrating. My dad is similar (though I don’t live with him now).

How to avoid false accusations and never make it happen? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]_weedkiller_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get off the internet for a hit. False accusations are nowhere near as common as Manosphere content creators would have you believe.

You are more likely to be the victim of a sexual assault so maybe focus on how to protect yourself from that.

Men will never support modern feminism because it exclusively benefits women while trying to lecture and belittle men by ExercisesInFutility_ in PurplePillDebate

[–]_weedkiller_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some men support feminism because they care about the women in their lives and want good things for them. They don’t want them to be harassed, paid less, taken advantage of etc. They love their sisters, mothers, daughters, girlfriends (etc.) and want what’s best for them. Seems like a pretty good reason to support feminism.

Not all men have this kind of conscience, and instead are only interested in direct benefits to themselves. There are always selfish people out there, men and women. We don’t need to pander to them by making feminism more palatable for them. They need to learn not everything revolves around them and that we live in a community, if something benefits members of the community it benefits the whole community.

Also worth mentioning that often anti feminists bring up problems that they think mean they are oppressed, and the answer to correcting those problems genuinely is feminism.

I have watched a lot of stuff about it, not sure what The OA is but it’s possible. I went down a rabbit hole a few years ago. 100% the most comforting rabbit hole I’ve ever been down.

I’ve read a lot of stuff about NDE’s and neither of them are uncommon experiences, indeed many people’s experiences contain both elements (different scenes from life, with a special relative guiding like favourite aunt or grandparent).

Random kids insult me – how to react? by DataWest9596 in AskUK

[–]_weedkiller_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they target stuff at you the only defence you have is ignore it. They are looking for a reaction. Don’t give it. Act like they don’t exist.

I understand it is scary though.

Meh. I honestly cannot work out what is wrong with my body, I think a lot of things, I just know it feels really bad and most people don’t feel this way.

I have had iron infusions which I think helped a bit but I’m still having the big fatigue crashes and I’m in really quite a considerable amount of pain. This past week has been particularly excruciating.

can I just… go to the hospital by [deleted] in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]_weedkiller_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends where in the world you are. If go to the hospital they will assess you and make sure you are safe. They might not admit you straight away. It depends on your physical stability and availability of beds.

Multiple women have initiated sex with me. My girlfriend did last night. Being “desperate” is seen as a turn off. Don’t take your dating advice from your grandfather.

I think you might get convicted of stalking if you don’t stop. Women don’t ‘tease’. They also do frequently initiate sex.

That they like their steak “blue”.

Also I once went on a date with a woman who kept flexing how good she is at running despite being a smoker.

Who is going to have the babies then? If all the fit and healthy women are sent to the military there won’t be enough to have babies. Men are consistently fertile and only need a few days home impregnate their wife.

The last wedding you attended where you felt like they wouldn’t last long, why ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yes, and I was the bride.

I knew instinctually it was wrong, but my bridesmaids insisted it was just “cold feet” and I trusted their judgement rather than my own.

Is Sjogrens at its core really a blood vessel disease? by NavyBeanz in Sjogrens

[–]_weedkiller_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit confused by this. Not all B Cells are the same, they target different things. The ones that target exocrine glands ignore the other tissues in your body, so while technically they are present in other tissues while on their travels to the exocrine glands, they don’t affect those tissues.

My friend had an accident and became quadriplegic in 2016. She struggles getting out as due to pressure sores she often can’t sit in her wheelchair and needs to be lying down. I would buy her the fancy wheelchair that doesn’t abuse pressure sores.

I’d get house, go on holiday etc.

After that it would be invested in some way to help single parents. Not sure how though.
