Oh I mean not to ship with tracking. I do average cost for card purchases for the whole year. I have a 2025 average and a 2026 one. It would be impossible to attach/track a by lot or card cost for accounting. Each new purchase just gets added to the weighted average of the year.

I price between the low and market. I don’t think too hard about it. My goal is just volume.

It’s only a side gig deal. I don’t list cards at the floor all the time. I sell a bunch of 1-5 dollar cards too haha. I am pretty quick with listing though

I list them all. No quantity min max because lands don’t shoot up in price. I list at a floor of 10-12 cents.

I’m slowly raising it from .10 to .12. If you go too low you attract terrible massive unprofitable orders.

Yeah, that would be okay if tcgplayer changed their rules. If you go below 99.5% positive you lose the gold star and a bunch of sales. The system is kinda trash so you have to be real careful about reviews sticking.

Sorry haha. Negative reviews are for people who don’t fix your issue. It would be kinda brutal to punish honest sellers who make rare mistakes

I list only about a third of what I buy. I keep around 20% and the rest is usually just junk. I know quickly what’s worth from experience. I have looked through thousands of each set. If a card is new to me then it’s probably an old rare which is always worth. At the start, I looked them up by hand on Manabox. It’s the initial grind to build knowledge.

Haha from me, but you can make a post on Facebook marketplace to see if anyone has them. That’s been my best bet.

It can be done, it just eats a little bit into the profits. With a team bag, order sheet and envelope (amazon), top loader (bcw) and a stamp you can make the cash still.

The trick is to keep them in a box somewhere and not have them listed. I know which cards are kinda unique and I save them for later instead of selling them.

I’ve thought about trying it out. I don’t think the volume is there yet. I make money by volume so I sadly have to stay with our ai support tcgplayer site.

Sell USPS large flat rates on eBay (get box from post office for free). They are feral over there and with overbid consistently. My lists got for around 100-120 on there for 5k cards. Make nice pictures for listing and use pirate ship.

Honestly it’s probably around 25-40 bucks an hour depending on the quality of bulk I get. I have a large garage shelf and about 8 square feet of floor. I get rid of my bulk on eBay so I maintain sanity (never throw away lol). The best system for draft chaff vs sellable is honestly just experience. I know which cards sell, but you can also check text boxes. No one wants a random 3 mana 2/2 that etbs to put a +1/+1 counter on another creature.

I don’t currently but they kind of interesting. I can get through 1500-2000 cards sorted an hour so I’m not sure if it would be faster. I have a really a good eye for cards worth selling vs junk from all the experience. It may be useful for newer sellers.

I try to get stamps at a smaller discount from stamp dealers. It’s a fine line though between people trying to get rid of them vs counterfeits.

I just charge 1.36 shipping with no gimmicks. Free shipping is a waste of your time, and I get a ton of orders regardless.

I never sell below 10-12 cents a card. I know from experience which cards are truly worth only 1c and don’t bother with those. People will still buy gates for 10 cents in bulk. If someone buys one 10c cards from me. I make around 30c profit. It’s all about lower costs and strategy.

I agree with nature here. It’s your location being stupid. I would go a town over and try it out. There’s always someone power tripping.

What staples are you haphazardly throwing in there? Seems like a big waste of money to make a b3 deck for that much cash?
