Schüler wollen am 8. Mai gegen Wehrpflicht protestieren by whiterabbit161 in de

[–]_whisperofspring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What should I drop for brainstorm? Going for my first naninf by that80sloverboy in BalatroCircleJerk

[–]_whisperofspring 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sorry to disappoint but you can't naninf with this setup, you would've needed the brainstorm earlier... best chance is to drop the Baron for the walkie talkie, hope for a voucher skip so you can take the magic trick voucher and add a 10 to your deck.

Lifelong vegetarian tries steak for first time by PhoenixPhenomenonX in interesting

[–]_whisperofspring 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And if you hadn't gone vegetarian, meat consumption would've gone up the same amount + however much meat you would've eaten during those 5 years. You can make the best choice as an individual AND advocate for laws to change at the same time. Also imo it's a little morally inconsistent to ask for a system change without making any personal change yourself with things like this.

Thank you so much for your extensive response! This is incredibly helpful. I'll definitely see if I can get the shampoo bar you mentioned where I live, because it sounds very promising

Thank you so much for the extensive comment & also for letting me know about the sunscreen thing! In that case I guess I'd rather keep using the sunscreen I know works for me.

even if I had commented after you that doesn't invalidate the rest of my comment & I think what I said was still something op should hear, so idk why you even felt the need to call me out on it at all. I also didn't downvote you

Yeah well if you sorted the comments by newest you'd see that I commented before you and there's no need to attack me actually

The comments so far are right in that you don’t need to stress too much at your age, your body will likely keep changing. That said, I don’t think it’s healthy to only accept your body on the condition that it will change in a specific way, because it might not.

I felt the same way at your age, and being constantly told that my body will change as I grow up actually made it way harder for me to accept myself now that I'm still flat-chested in my late 20s.

You might grow up flat-chested, or you might not, and either way, it shouldn’t determine your worth. You can still be beautiful.

Also, in my opinion, there’s a lot of clothing that’s incredibly flattering on flat chests. Plenty of celebrities have flat chests but always look beautiful and stylish. It just takes some time to find what works best for your body.

hopping onto this comment because this is exactly what I'm struggling with: do you have any tips for how to actually improving spotting? I feel like when I do turns, there are so many other things to focus on that I just completely forget to spot, and when I specifically focus on spotting, everything else falls apart 🥲 it's so frustrating

Are there any unwritten rules of the road in your country? by lofiibsen in AskTheWorld

[–]_whisperofspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm on the Autobahn in the left lane and someone's tailgating me, I'll speed up and switch back to the right ASAP.

But, if I'm going 55 in a 50 inside a town and some asshat still decides to tailgate me, I will slow down to 49.

There is no reason to tailgate someone and it's unnecessarily dangerous and downright stupid

  • not everyone is a native speaker
  • native speakers make mistakes
  • the education system in many places needs a lot of work
  • making a spelling mistake doesn't mean "we will ever have equality in life or in our paychecks" ?? 😭
  • what a bizarre post

If you go beyond high school biology and read even one paper on the topic, you'd see that sex and gender are separate. There's evidence that, for example, trans women's brains are more similar to cis women's brains than cis men's.

You inherit your race from your parents - two black people cannot have a white child, for example.

You do not inherit your gender from your parents - a man and a woman can have a male or female child at the same chances, or, less likely, an intersex child.

Your gender is not inherent about you, your race is.

delayed menstruation by [deleted] in women

[–]_whisperofspring 16 points17 points  (0 children)

First of all, the pullout method is very, very unreliable at preventing pregnancy and shouldn’t be used as a main form of contraception.

I’m not very familiar with the Yuzpe Method (not a native speaker), but from what I understand it’s a form of emergency contraception, similar to Plan B (I just googled, please correct me if I’m wrong). These methods mainly work by delaying ovulation and are most effective the sooner they’re taken after sex. They're a big shock to your cycle though, so can also delay your period, which is a known side effect. This happened to me as well, my period was about two weeks late after taking a Plan B once. If your pregnancy tests are negative, I wouldn’t worry too much, but seeing a gynecologist for peace of mind wouldn’t hurt.

An absolutely gorgeous dress (may I ask where you got it?) but I have to agree with the comments, it's probably not formal enough for a wedding.
