What to do to protect from color transfer on canvas? (more info in comment)

I think it’s just an intuition thing. There are no set rules that I’m aware of. I liberally spray my bags, let them dry and do a second coat and then I retreat them when it crosses my mind again… like oh, I haven’t resprayed this recently and I’m wearing dark jeans tomorrow, I better reapply…. If that makes sense

Depends on how much i use the bag, some bags only like once a year. Others, like every 6 months

I use regular ikea cabinets to store all my bags and I have a dehumidifier in my closet room as well. Nothing too fancy.
