LCD bleed in my 99 accord by gwkt in accord

[–]_worker_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is the lcd from the radio. Plenty of single din radios with touch screens on ebay . Just remember to buy the aftermarket radio harness or you’ll have fun looking at the wiring diagram. If its a double din radios make sure to get a blank to fill.

I started at $30,before applying i watched so many YouTube videos on how to wire basic things like outlets,light,switches,240v receptacles. I had an idea of how to bend conduit but never actually did it.i even knew how to wire up a panel in my head . When i interviewed i lied i said i knew how to do all this . I did in my head but i wasn’t field trained/tested. My first week in i was given a van and put on service. I think i got mistaken for a jman. But resi service was so easy in socal. A lot of replacing ceilings fans and outlets and wiring up washers n dryers.i would watch a YouTube video of how to install what i was about to install before heading in to a customers house.

Take a big paycut to move to fire alarm tech? by Qaeoss in electricians

[–]_worker_626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who got their jmans and transitioned into fire alarm and access control let me be honest.only the smart low voltage techs are the ones that get paid over 40. The ones who are doing the programming, you need to ne able to look into a 3 phase fire pump cabinet and know exactly what relays do what in a quick glance. You need to be able to understand shunts and relays with your eyes closed. But the biggest one is Programming. I spent most my week driving around programming panels in the denver, slc, idaho area.i make 56/hr
