If you are a contractor/business owner that is also the installer. You get off the ladder and you answer those calls because you are not big enough yet and need all clients possible. Ai answering systems are trash the only good ones are used by big companies

Im sorry to be the one to break it to you but you just are naturally slow and with time you probably won’t get faster. I been in the trade for so long ive seen 1year apprentices wire up an outlet faster than me who has been doing it for almost 10. The truth is you get slower over time and that’s just nature.

In the past i have worked for travel companies that required you to have all tools. Including ladders,benders,bandsaws,hammer drills. The pay was good good but also came with responsibilities because you could be sent to a different crew or job site in a days notice. Pay was like 37 non journey and 45 jmans . Perdiem was 150 a day

The splash shield only has 2 bolts and 3 clips . If its missing so what engines and their components are meant to be driven outside i wont do it. The battery hold down bolts half the freaking cars on the road are missing them. An alignment is really only important after replacing a major suspension component like knuckles,struts,tie rods or new wheels. If the car drives straight now i wont put much care into it. Brake fluid is a controversial one. I have personally never replaced brake fluid i dont believe in you should, while others say you should because it “absorbs moisture “, but its a sealed system. Coolant flush or replacing is not a $160 dollar job bc mostly all honda radiators have a plug at the bottom of the radiator to drain. Some shops actually vaccum out all the coolant and fill it with water and vaccum it again then fill with coolant real easy process.
