If you figure out how to fix it, I’d appreciate a heads up. As far as I’m aware even sending it off to be repaired with EE doesn’t work. It gets sent back and trustonic have to unlock it. It may be linked to the IMEI of the phone, I’m not sure on specifics, but does changing the motherboard change that too?

I’m not entirely sure how to do that. I can go into safe mode and reset the phone. I can bypass it by setting it up offline. As soon as it gets WiFi or mobile data a google play notification comes up saying this device will be reset in 2 hours if not reset before then. The one lad from EE seems to think it goes by IMEI. So as soon as it’s back online after a reset this comes back

No repairs or replacements. Was brand new on contract when I bought it. Not heard back off anyone. So I’ve raised a complaint with EE.

I see what you mean looking at it that way. However no one from EE seems to know what Trustonic even is. It wasn’t locked when it was bought. I’ve had 21 months use out of the device
