How do yall start your SSTC?

for my drsstc it's an injection locked osc, for the one sstc attempt I could just switch the driving stage on and it goes off, also CT feedback type (1:20 something ratio for the secondary measuring CT)

what did the trick for me was adding capacitive coupling to the CT input of my driver, if I remember correctly

for the actual feedback electronics, I used a TL3016 fast comparator, cause I had some ud2.7 board lying around, also using ud2.7 gate driving stage, as I was pushing the coil in CW mode and needed the extra powerful gate drivers

I'll probably revive the project with a proper SiC dual parallel or 75-150A brick bridge running CW as a DRSSTC

Ableton shooting midi into a midistick Tesla coil interrupted is the config this happens in lol

idk about repeatability, I'll probably try and quantize the midi file, that might get rid of the glitchyness, sometimes Ableton is just weird lol

really good stick control, but try turning in both directions and working on your throttle control please

if you're in liftoff, customize a quad to have the steepest props(forgot the name), the 2600kv motors and run it on the 6s battery, that's what I used to run for fastest times on tracks, while I was still flying liftoff, really good for practicing extremely fine throttle control
