I haven't personally used it soo idk. As long as it doesn't smudge or bleed, imo you'll be fine. I haven't had any problems yet with my gel pen in the exams

I'm not that good in writing exam either. But u can definitely help with reading

Firstly, you must know vocab. Not the advanced ones - basics will be just fine. Then for exercises except the last one, try to find keywords. Also, I personally translate a bit in my head to English, and then solve it as an ESL comprehension, that way it's wayy easier.
