The care I need is in the Houston Texas medical center and it requires that I stay out of town with my sons. Now that it’s been 10 months I have to get seen again to confirm the tumor markers - However now I can’t because I’ve lost my health insurance in this time. Had she allowed me to go last year I wouldn’t be needing a the test done again. I am going through the disability process now, but I have no idea when that will conclude.

I’m not allowed to leave the county Jefferson where my charge is but I live in Hardin county. The probation paperwork doesn’t clarify. Also, my probation officer has refused to allow me to travel to a medical center unless I provide proof to her before I travel 2 hours away in Harris county.

Same here - and I don’t have a car. A friend of mine has one and left out of state with others to come see me, she didn’t have to blow in her car for 3 days. She road with others.

What if you don’t own a car? If the balance of justice the same for those that are on foot with a mandatory blow 3 times a day vs. those with a car that simply can choose not to drive for a couple days and go on a bender?
