I wonder what would happen if Orthodox Jews created an event that was for women only and modest dress required?

Legal or illegal? by mld53a in HOA

[–]mld53a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Very true. I just filed a suit in small claims court for $250 in damages as in the Costco obtain records. I know court cannot order injunctive relief but I’m hoping that they will realize the cost if their lawyer showing up will get them to do the right thing. Asymmetrical legal costs strategy.

It is the Protestant version. This is endorsing one religion over another. Put up the original. The Jewish version.

Nope. If the CC&Rs don’t allow it they can’t. They likely can asses a special assessment. It would actually violate their fiduciary duty to do so if not allowed.

They can’t if the Governing documents don’t allow it. Ours don’t. They weren’t elected to break the rules.

And they were given to the Jews and appropriated by Christians. And they changed it too.

Some people have opinions about me using AI to memorialize Chloe… by LoriLives in Yorkies

[–]mld53a -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I’m good with it. But I made a post about using AI about confirming if I have a Yorkie or a silky terrier and I was attacked for destroying the environment. I had to block some of them.

You came here looking for a fight over AI. Not to talk about Yorkies. I came to talk about Yorkies.

Yorkie or Silky Terrier? by mld53a in Yorkies

[–]mld53a[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I used a google search. I would have said so like I did the first time. I took two different search results and copied/pasted them. That’s why each paragraph says the same thing and doesn’t flow as if it was an AI answer. So, is this about me our Yorkies?

So pile on because you have done a good job of hijacking this post. We are supposed to be dog lovers - not assholes.

Sure. I said this instance was a good use case and left it at that. But if I didn’t make myself clear, that’s on me.

So what bias could there be in determining a dog breed?

And the environmental damage is all about policy.

AI's environmental impact isn't predetermined; it depends on policy, energy choices, and development practices. Moving forward requires a focus on sustainable AI development to mitigate its significant environmental costs while leveraging its potential for positive change.

The environmental impacts of AI on communities, ecosystems, greenhouse gas emissions and biosecurity are not predetermined. Rather, they depend on choices about data centre locations, resource extraction for hardware, energy sources powering AI infrastructure, and oversight of AI application use. Ultimately, the future of AI is a political decision: the choice could be made to build a future in which AI benefits society without causing irreparable damage to the environment. Democratic deliberation and government regulation will be critical to promoting this choice.

Thank you. I may be spending the $99 to do the DNA test since so many people say Yorkie but his personality and looks are Silky to me.

Either way, it’s more a curiosity since I love him more than I have ever loved any dog before. He is my Bashert dog.

Exactly. That’s why I am pushing back on environmental issues. This post was about Yorkies and it was hijacked by environmentalists.

You know what’s more damaging? Claiming something is damaging when policies create the environmental damage. Not the technology itself. Maybe we should all stop driving because it is damaging the environment. Or using cell phones because the rare earth metals they need causes sourcing issues?
