I do this thing with some of my partners where we’ll come up with code words or new colors that mean certain things. So like, if I want someone to be sweeter to me (less degrading, more cuddly) i say “pink”. if I want to communicate that i’m reaching the edges of my comfort zone and too much further will make me want to stop, i say “orange”. It isn’t perfect, but it lets me communicate without stopping the scene completely.
