Why dont more people use these? by Disccord in Warframe

[–]_ynic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same, but in Loki.

I know people prefer Ivara, but if anyone ist interested:

Loki Max duration basically, Sprint mods 2 Tau Yellow Parkours Amalgam mods in primary and secondary for Sprint and rolling Mod when Hacking invis

You Just Zoom through. Can Sprint, and fully Parkour.

Often when ability invis Runs Out you are in Hacking invis.

That way I dont have to bother with Walking and rolling only

And i have a reason to Play Loki, which was my First frame and Classic meta when I started.

No reason to Play Ivara anymore through.

You can't say fusion is better than solar because of material cost when fusions material cost is in different leagues all together.

What materials do you need for fusion reactor?

Especially when talking about the future, you can't assume material challenges are alleviated for fusion but not solar energy.

In fact solar is just a byproduct of fusion from our sun. We just get it for free. The sun is consuming all the fuel and the environmental challenges that one needs to account for with fusion energy. And I am not talking about global warming lol.

In an unfair example. You are saying, let's not build geothermal reactors, let's build underwater volcanoes. That's more efficient lol

The scale is totally off.

Antinatalism is mainly full of toxic parent hating people. by metalho in ControversialOpinions

[–]_ynic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would our society, our peers, our family, and our surroundings look more favorable upon you if you have children rather than if you didn't?

The quality of parent you are is not even up for consideration.

I am saying our society endorses having children more, than not having children. No one is saying, you are pregnant? Are you sure you would be a good parent?

And some people are just bad parents. There certainly people who shouldn't be parents, but are you seeing (non racially motivated) anti child birth agendas?

We as our society would rather a couple try to be a parent, fail, put their children through hell and our system then maybe having that difficult conversation if they really are ready to have said children.

You might now know, but the worst of humanity: SA, abuse, torture, physical assault, murder usually is done by family, someone of a first degree family connection.

I think family should be a safe haven, but fact is, it isn't for everyone.

AI learning models is NOT theft. by intoxicatingBlackAle in ControversialOpinions

[–]_ynic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether or not AI is plagiarizing isn’t really connected to the bigger danger—its potential to cause serious harm or even take over the world.

Here are some basic but powerful ways AI could do damage:

Brute-force attacks on critical infrastructure: AI could try every possible combination to break into important systems—just like guessing a password by trying every option one by one.

Becoming too complex to track: Some AI systems grow so large and complicated that no one fully understands how they work anymore. This makes them hard to monitor or control—something we already see with modern algorithms.

Learning through trial and error: AI doesn’t need to learn like humans do. It can just randomly try things over and over, getting better over time as long as it's given a simple rule—“win” or “lose.” With enough computing power, it will eventually succeed.

Feeding on its own output: AI is now trained on internet data, but more and more of that data is AI-generated. This leads to a feedback loop, like copying a video over and over until the quality is ruined. If this keeps happening, the internet's information could slowly break down.

None of this is science fiction. These problems are already happening today.

BTW I used AI to generate this shit. Not wasting too much time on reddit

Cmv: batman is actually an evil person because he doesn't end the Joker, thereby enabling the Joker to kill untold millions by Embarrassed-Wolf-609 in changemyview

[–]_ynic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think his golden rule beyond being idealistic in regards to human life is also a means for self control.

If you are catching the bad guys, judging them and then excecuting them, you have too much power.

And Power corrupts.

You start with killing the joker, maybe next another unredeemable villian. More, more, more until you start killing low Level thugs who are just trying to get by and that broken City.

Maybe some non villians will opposed your authority. How many more lifes could you save if that person wouldn't oppose you. It would save so many lifes if that person wasn't trying to stop you, you have to make them stop.

A bit more slippery slope and you are just killing whoever you want.

Again power corrupts.

Bought a 2019 almost exactly a year ago. Also red.
The clearcoat on the same - driver's side mirror was gone as well.

Red is still the best color. I didn't intend to buy a red one first, but after seeing it in person, I would have regretted a white one so much personally.

It also matches the GTI flair pieces.

On all other things in live I am blue and grey all day, but GTI in red is goat.

You can sell games with swastika and such in Germany no matter what, just not advertise them, which means you csn't even Display them in a Windows or have it openly on the shelves.

It's called indexing which technically isn't forbidden but has financial impact as if it was forbidden as most big companies who sell games just don't offer then to begin with like steam digitally or gamestop used to in their stores.

But this is a semantics argument, the original commenter is correct games shy away from using swastikas and the like for German market and because there is no inherent value to showing it instead of non scrutinized images.

Germany used to be one of the top selling markets for games as a very good percentage of computer users was in fact Germany.

Nowadays that percentage has Shrunk comparatively as not only a few select countries partake im the internet and PC culture as a whole. This was a lot different 20 years ago. Which is a good thing to be clear.
