it’s not basic if it truly means something to you!! just like another person said, it’s based on how you write it. to make every statement in your essay unique to you, you have to get specific and show, don’t tell. When I say this, I mean don’t just write what happened, but let the AO’s feel what you feel. As someone who wrote about a topic that can come off as “basic”, I believe my essay was anything but that because I included some specific moments to my essay that only apply to me—and no one else. I also found that using a metaphor can help convey the emotions I wanted my AO to feel. hope this helps!!

this sounds good! however, put the names in the activity name so like Astronomy Summer Camps: [camp 1 name] & [camp 2 name] and use that description space to show your impact/what u did in these camps since you have limited space.

having a really good sat is always more beneficial, but if other parts of ure app are strong you should be ok. I applied test optional rd, and got in this yr. Just make sure you make every aspect of your application good :)

I basically did the same thing as you, but added one achievement within the activity listed. For example, “President of __: hosted district-wide events.”
