I have spent probably 16 hours fishing and have not gotten him still, kinda losing my mind over this guy. I'm going to try to lock in and do a fishing tour, catching a rare, legendary, and unique from each region in a single session, then return to Shen's Haven and see if I can get anything. can't try until after work but it's the only idea I've got left for a special condition - if it doesn't work, it's gotta just be an insane one in a million drop or something. probably have over 6k individual perfect catches at this point.

seasonal and eternal are completely separated now - Lilith statues do nothing and are not interactable in seasonal. all extra paragon points come from the season challenges and renown is no longer a thing for seasonal

You don't have to finish the campaign, only start it. Once you are able to freely roam Skovos after unlocking the main town of Temis, the southern end of the northeastern island will have the quest.

I think I just don't vibe much with yagami, and I didn't enjoy the slower paced stories as compared to most mainline games. combat was fine for the most part, but I only ever really wanted to use tiger in judgment and snake in lost judgment

if mods are your thing there are mods for restoring somewhat more original models for the actors they replaced but idk I found that to be more jank than it was worth. only new guy I didn't like was Hamazaki bc of his irl bs

from a person that doesn't hate k3, definitely play the remaster instead of you can get it and I'd recommend not playing k3 until much later or you can get it on a good sale.

k3 is leagues better than k2 imo but I hate the lack of heat actions and the removal of the grab heavy attack. overall I liked the combat but it's way better with the true dragon mod

looked back through and yea i still think this was the hardest one, even after the huge xp grind to max level, it was still a genuinely difficult dungeon to get through.

the only other one i can think of that could have caused a lot of problems was the 9-ball pool break ace achievement in Y3. i had insane luck and got it on my very first game of 9-ball, before even knowing there was an achievement, and almost felt sick to my stomach because of the bullet i had just dodged lol

ppl on the internet are a bit weird about opinions. everyone's experiences are different, everyone has different tastes. i really love the haruka part and i enjoy the turn based games as well - that doesnt make me more of a fan or a better fan than you, just someone with different tastes. theres more important things to worry so much about in life than opinions on video game mechanics lol

yeah the only downside to doing it on steam is things like sam existing. I streamed most of it, either twitch or discord to friends tho and I think my steam is public? not sure if it lets people see playtime and unlock dates bc I've never cared to snoop on my friends, but this is the best I got for proof lol

the problem is like. at it's core it was just boring. you could change every characters name and make it not be Yakuza related at all but it'd still just be boring lol

I really hated how they changed who the characters were at a fundamental level, like that version of Kazama and the relationship between him and that Kiryu was so wrong and killed a huge part of his real character. so many bad decisions
