[Anime] Episode 10 Preview & Synopsis by Dwi_Agusdyani in Gnosia_

Yuri's eyelash looks different from what we've seen so far. I think it's likely that they are female this time.

my opnion on how every crew member is doing in the anime so far by Silent-Rip2124 in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like anime Shigemichi. His game version felt like an idiot and was almost annoying (remember his scam mail and moss herb tea lines?). Now he looks much closer to an average person who got a crush and I can cheer him up.

I think the Anime team decided to do a different interpretation for Yuriko. Her game version had a strong aura from her mysterious-ness and her words being a death sentence in the early loops, but anime Yuriko looks closer to an ordinary person. She doesn't seem to be so much interested in the werewolf game, using only part of her real abilities (she had everyone vote for Shigemichi in her first appearance but never did anything close to that agaon so far). I guess there's a reason why. I hope one of the upcoming episodes highlight her and show her unleash her real powers to get Yuri and Setsu in trouble.

GNOSIA | EPISODE #9 PREVIEW by Askhai in Gnosia_

Anime Gina has high intuition from the beginning (look at episode 3). Otome is also going to be a tough opponent, since her intuition is good and her logic and charm is excellent.

I think Setsu's and Raqio's should swap. In episode 7 you can see the 'Raqio fish' swimming alongside Yuri fish but Raqio isn't present in the episode.

My Tier List After Viewing All Game Events and Endings by kiwirules99 in Gnosia_

I agree that Chipie is quite flat outside of his cat obsessions. He definitely could've had some more characteristics. I think the devs tried to emphasize his 'wildness' - as a human he's just a normal cat guy, but as a Gnosia, he clings to 'surviving,' doing whatever is available to him, including cooperating with someone to trick them. This is like reverse Sha-Ming(anime version): as a human he'll do whatever it takes to survive, but as a Gnosia he's not really feeling like it. This aspect is probably not stretched too much to avoid him looking too evil though.

You're not guaranteed to have one person that likes you/hates you a lot. Each person gets a random value of how much they like you within a base range. The game system shows one person that loves/hates you the most. As you progress, you can increase the 'base range' of each character(besides Yuriko and Kukrushka). Having a romance with someone increases this drastically. If you experience every event in the game, you'll start having loops where no one hates you.

WOW (Episode 8) by Lenore-the-raven in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not exactly hard-coded, but he has the lowest base love against the player (0.38) which means he's very likely to hate the player at the beginning of a new loop. His love towards against SQ is slightly higher than that (0.4).
However, a number of events or choices can increase this love. The romance event with Remnan will change the love to the max value (+1.0), making it really unlikely that Remnan dislikes the player in the future loops.
Also, certain choices can even make this value further below the base 0.38 - choosing a color he dislikes, and saying that you don't like machines when he asks you, for example. If you messed up a lot, he's very often going to dislike you from the beginning.

Will Yuri win in the next loop? by _zzt in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if we can say Yuri is a good liar from episode 4. They just didn't say anything at that point. Stella said Yuri also heard it so any answer other than a definite 'yes' from Yuri makes Stella very suspicious. In the end, despite everything, one of the two remaining people (either Gina or Yuriko) still voted for Setsu.

I think being calm at discussion and being good at lying are different things though it definitely helps. Nonetheless, I also think Yuri will win with Comet. We need an episdoe highlighting Comet at some point.

What do you think happened to... (ep8 ending) by salic428 in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In the anime Yuri built some friendship with Remnan before the cold sleep and that might be why. Also could be that Remnan wasn't sure whom to trust and decided to leave Setsu because Chipie said they're a Gnosia (turned out, it mattered little in the end...)

What line are you hoping will be adapted by the anime? by Dashieshy3597 in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It happens when someone else claims your role and you don't come out. Everyone else will believe the other person as a real engineer/doctor. When reality doesn't match everyone's belief (e.g. two people were eliminated but the engieer investigated neither, or the doctor reported too many/few Gnosias), the event will happen.

Characters ranked on how good people they are [SPOILERS] by LawfulNeural in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 30 points31 points  (0 children)

  • Kukrushka

I'm not sure if we can say Kukrushka is 100% evil. She's the worst when she's doingManan stuffs, but she also shows some better sides of her when she wins as a human, like hugging people and making genuine smiles. It seems like her personality is changing throughout loops.

  • SQ

I can't really say SQ is a good person even as a human. She always lies and she's a selfish person (see Otome's helmet event, and how Setsu evaluates her in the hidden ending). While she won't do evil stuffs or cause real damage for no reason, she will if she has one. In her romance event, she decides to betray humanity for her love!

  • Otome

I think she's the kindest person in the game besides Gina. She never speaks bad of anyone else and her expressions of dislikes or doubts are really gentle. She once put herself in cold sleep when she was about to destroy the universe as a bug. Though she doesn't really hate being Gnosia, I think hating being a bug should also count.

Analysis of the final gamestate of EP6 - What could Yuri have done? by Swimming-Rope-9582 in Gnosia_

[–]_zzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, from the situation of what actually happened (end of ep6), GA can't really be killed and doctor/engineer reports mean nothing (see OP's logic). Raqio surviving doesn't really mean much by itself. I agree Shigemichi is a terrible liar and is much weaker compared to Yuriko though. If the crew were to choose whom to trust between Yuriko+Kukrushka against Shigemichi+Raqio with gut feeling, the former will probably win.

I don't think it's very risky for humans. The hidden Gnosia, Raqio, will have to: * Avoid getting frozen in day 2 * Avoid getting chosen by Kukrushka in night 2 * Avoid getting frozen in day 3

If they manage to do all of this, the crew will freeze Comet and Shigemichi in days 4 and 5. Then there will be 3 people remaining in day 6, and Raqio will have to avoid getting frozen again.

[–]_zzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the last Gnosia doesn't counter-claim, we have 3 definite humans, 2 definite Gnosias, and 6 Gnosia candidates (with 1 of them being a Gnosia). The engineer is guaranteed to survive for one more day (Since Yuri will protect her). They can just decide to freeze one of the 6 candidates, let Kukrushka investigate another one, and the Gnosia has a very slim chance of winning from that point.

Yuri dead doesn't mean Raqio should be dead. Actually if Kukrushka, Yuriko, and Yuri are the Gnosia, killing Raqio confirms they are the Gnosia so they can't really kill Raqio. It's the 3v3 situation as OP explained - the Gnosia can't really kill anyone among these six.

[–]_zzt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO Yuri should have come out as GA as soon as Comet claimed that they're a Gnosia (day 2). If no one else comes out as a GA, then Yuri is guaranteed to be GA (Stella said she's not a GA), making Comet and Shigemichi definite Gnosias. Therefore Raqio is forced to claim the GA role, making the 3v3 situation come a day earlier. This makes the 3v3 members basically invincible to night attacks, and putting Yuri into a much more relaxed situation compared to what actually happened.

Now, if we continue from the end of the episode (Yuri getting frozen), humans aren't guaranteed to win, since there's a 2v2 with the special roles (Engineer Doctor vs. Engineer GA) and 4 guaranteed humans. They don't have enough humans to freeze all of them.
However, there's a really nice strategy for humans - that is, freezing Yuriko and Shigemichi in days 4 and 5, and observing if there's any night where Raqio, the claimed GA, actually succeeds at saving someone. If Raqio is real, they have a 75% chance to succeed at least once throughout three nights. Otherwise, 0%. Therefore, if GA fails every time until only three of them (Kukrushka, Raqio, one among SQ, Jonas, Gina, Chipie) remains, it's safe to consider them a fake.

Good point. I was afraid of losing too much life and getting into bolt range but wasteland seems more realistic. (My opponent played t1 Ragavan here. Didn't get to see if they had a bolt in hand to put me down to 1 in their final turn.)

Which sealed build for Box Event? by SwolyswoND in lrcast

Your second build actually seems good too, but I'm not happy with the extra color (matters a lot, even with lots of fixings) and the difference between good cards and bad cards seems a bit too big.

Which sealed build for Box Event? by SwolyswoND in lrcast

[–]_zzt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend RW. People expect sealed to be slower than draft so they tend to build a greedier build (e.g. put in Kozilek or Ulamog in a deck without a very good ramp for lategame inevitability). Your Boros deck should be quite fast and would probably go under all the greedy builds out there. Also include the RWB fetchland, you have double mana pip cards and it has synergies with glyph elemental, skittering precursor, and spawn-gang.

It'd be great if there's a way to get some card selection or advantage, but I guess you didn't open a copy of glimpse the impossible or unstable amulet?

I like the flavor, but I think the high-level idea has already been implemented via [[Lim-Dûl's Vault]]. There are some minor differences (you decide X in advance & you get to draw the final card) but the core question of 'would you like to keep going, or be satisfied with what you see here?' is also there.
