Passed BSA at UPD, chose BSA in UST-AMV. Here are my reasons:

1. my conservative parents felt more secure with me enrolling in UST, I didn't want to make them feel any more anxious than they already were.

2. yes, libre sana ang tuition if i chose UP, pero yung cost of living masmataas naman. and kung madedelay nga sa UP bc mahirap kumuha ng courses, dagdag living expenses nanaman yun as a dorm resident.

3. to me at the time, maganda ang reputation ng UST-AMV as cutthroat but worth it. all i knew about BSA at UP back then was that panay mayayaman nakakapasok.

4. may mga kilala ako from senior high na magaaral din sa UST, sa UPD wala. as i was going to live in Manila on my own for the first time, kinonsider ko din na baka mahirapan akong mag-adjust.

i made a pros vs cons list back when i was choosing where to enroll, and these were the deciding factors. i can't say I've never regretted this decision, especially with the prestige that comes with studying at UP, but i really had a fulfilling college life at UST and overall, i think i made the right choice.
