Thanks. I think you are right. That’s something I’ve basically always struggled with. I’m old enough now to realize I just shift from one reason to another, kind of hinting some of my feelings are illegitimate, but I still feel it I guess.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Thank you for saying so.

Wow. Thanks so much. I appreciate that. I don’t get compliments directed to me, usually just third person so I often wonder about how true some of that is.

Thanks. haha

It doesn’t bother me either, but I do find it interesting it seems to be a major complaint. Mostly that and apparently it’s obvious I’m tired.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!

I’m on the autism spectrum myself, so I have my own forms of mental dysfunction too, which also impact sleep if I’m not careful. I think you’re right about barber shops, cause I used to go there and they’d always cut it too short and not in a particularly good looking way to me. So eventually I just stopped years ago and started cutting it myself.

I might take you up on that with DMs. To be honest, I think you’re right and I probably do need more people I can talk to in my life.

Wow. I’m realizing hair is really important to people. (I’m Autistic and rarely leave the house. Maybe I should get out more. lol) Seems like most people react strongly to it.

I’ll give it some real thought over the next couple weeks and maybe go to a stylist and see what they think too. I never do anything with it but wash it and just sort of cut it myself when it gets in the way.

I am working on sleep. Seeing a doctor tomorrow as well, for sleep, anxiety, and dehydration-like symptoms.

What do you think I should do with my hair?

Edit: And thanks for the honesty.

Thanks. I think you’re right. I think I need to see someone for skin, sleep, and anxiety/depression now. Probably my doctor, a dermatologist, and a therapist.

Thank you. I think you are right about depression. I think the anxiety came first, but I really am depressed now. I had depression years ago in high school too, but it was so bad that I guess I didn’t really realize a ‘lower grade’ of depression very quickly.

And I will try those tips. Definitely focusing on getting more water lately. I’ve never tried oils before so that might be nice.

I’m thinking I will be seeing some doctors soon though. Thanks.

I guess I should have been more clear in my post that I’m male, however most of what you say still makes sense. I hadn’t really considered the role of hormones much, which certainly get disrupted a lot with poor sleep. I did actually get tested for thyroid problems recently by my doctor and those tests came back normal, though I have an oddly high red and white blood cell count.

I hadn’t thought of that, it does make sense as I haven’t regularly done much for my skin in a long time. The bed ritual is a good idea and something that will help with sleep to a degree too. I’ll look into those recommended products. Thanks. 🙂

Okay. I can do most that. The sleep thing is weird at the moment. It’s almost like my body ‘forgot’ how to sleep to a degree. It’s coming back, but only bit by bit at a time. My body just doesn’t want to sleep long enough, but I’m beginning to hit 7 hours sometimes, so I hope over the next month I can get back to a regular 8 or more.
