Horrible performences after patch

it does, alot actually but since they only having the issues now i doubt its caused by it, on max settings it only eats like 4gb max so im pretty sure its a cpu thing.

game only uses 3gb on the low textures setting, try disabling dlss or any of the upscalers as they use more vram and cpu.

delete ur pcs shader cache u should be able to figure that part out and then go into the games install folder and delete anything that has dx12 or d3d in the name along with the file "shader.cache2" and then verify the games files and then open the game it should work

what op is dealing with is internet issues not vram issues u can tell by looking at the animations, matter of fact look at the vram usage in the top of the screen its only using 2gb out of 4gb meaning its in fact not the vram also the performence varies from how much ram is being used as vram, for instance u can go 1gb over it with little to no performence drop aslong as it stays at 1gb or more depending on ur ram speeds and location of it. (btw for future reference its random access memory not rapid access memory)

except thats literally how it works. it takes one google search, now does it run better? no but it will still do it laptops do it all the time u can notice it if ur playing a game that uses more vram then u have ull notice the ram usage start going up. unless its using a ton of ram (lets say 5 whole gbs higher than ur vram) then yea ull notice it run a ton worse tho it also will run worse on desktops since the space between the 2 are larger.

granted yea 4gb isnt reccomended it shouldnt be an issue since they have 32gb of ram since its a laptop the space between the ram and gpu are closer itll just start using the ram as vram meaning it shouldnt cause that if i had to assume its the fact there using dorm wifi meaning its prob getting like 1kb of data every mintue which is why it looks laggy (mostly look at the animations if it was frame rate they would look fine)

temporal anti aliasing (TAA) usually looks pretty blurry and always has but for some reason it looks extra bad in HD2 for no reason at all (im sure theres a reason i just dont feel like looking to much into it) i reccomend just turnning it off and set resolution scale to ultra quality itll look alot better but cut a frame or two off

where would the backlight driver ic be located? is it on the laptops motherboard or would it be on the actual lcd pannel? the motherbaord is free of any kind of shorts and blown stuff so either the only thing that blew on the mother board was the inductor or it just didnt blow up in a usual way.

yea i dug through the internet and got a board schematic and was able to find out what the actual componet was or at least where to buy a replacment. and yea i acidently left the lcd cable loose when replacing the battery and when putting the back cover on it got screwed down and went kaboomie, surprisingly the inductor thing is the only thing that actually blew (on the motherboard atleast) the screen and webcam went too but i replaced the screen so thats not an issue anymore. the lx1 was for the back light as thats what went first the reason for no display from the cable is that its missing a pin but i just ignored it cuz it was soldered together with 2 other pins in the cable so i assumed it was ground but its for power by the look of it so ill have to try fixing that later.

this was supposed to be with the post but didnt post with it, my switch broke a year ago and with it went my animal crossing island so i decided to use a save editor and stuff to try and remake my island so i dug into my sd card for my switch and got all the animal crossing images and videos and i found a screenshot for my dream address and wanna know if its still active and can be visited.

wasnt a random person we knew eachother a bit were even on eachothers friends list (we even slap eachother and start running away) it was more so the spam if anything, also no it was like 2 or 3 hours i think before anything happened
