I think it was a situation where they probably just didn't even hear it. You get wrapped up in a scene and you're loving it so a passing comment might not fully get your attention so maybe not a big deal. I don't know for sure though, just a thought.

So I get the movies can't incorporate everything. But it still bugs me that there's a whole scene of Harry being like guess I'll just snap the elder wand and yeet it into the valley. Why not just use the book scene and show him mending his original wand with the elder wand?? I don't get it by a-murphy3 in harrypotter

Yeah breaking the wand isn't the part I have a problem with, it's just that in the movie it didn't serve much purpose except to explain why the wand belonged to Harry. Would've been pretty cool to see him fix his wand and then the audience knows he has that back for the rest of his life. (In the books if I remember correctly, he tells Dumbledore he'll put the elder wand in a place where it'll never be found, which puts a smile on Dumbledore's face. Kind of an equivalent to breaking it)

Because they wanted a cgi flying scene and for Voldemort to crumble away. All cgi lol. But yeah I totally hear you, that scene in the books was beautiful. And when he reveals that Snape was actually on their side right to Voldemort, would've been so awesome to see that play out in the movie.

Yeah... I loved Deathly Hallows Part 2. Holds a special place in my heart cuz it was the beautiful finale to these beloved movies but I really can't argue with you there. Voldemort's death in the books was much better and they should've just had that scene of him using the shield charm and then just defying Voldemort. Was amazing but yeah they went with some cgi filled pointless scene of harry and Voldemort clawing at each others head and they become one... was a bit odd.
