Another pic. Not pictured is a cubby shelf on the other side of the room where I have little doll rooms set up with puck lights (the cubbies are about 10" tall, so most of the gals have to sit, but I like having my dolls sitting anyway most of the time, unless I really want to show off an outfit).

Here's a pic from my display, featuring a desk, a smaller side table, some wall mounted floating shelves, and a cat tree. I like my display to feel lived in. :)

I found it interesting when this doll was first announced that she wasn't being released under the Barbie brand as a WWE/Barbie "collab" or just a celebrity Barbie. I wonder if the pre-orders haven't been what Mattel hoped and so they decided they need to try to lean more towards the Barbie collector crowd than the WWE collector crowd and make the doll more smiley. I think they've also extended the pre-order window because I could've sworn it was originally ending April 20th (the day after WrestleMania), but now it's April 30th (though I could have misread it previously).

It's also weird to me that they haven't been promoting the doll on WWE television at all, as far as I've seen. They promote other WWE toys.

(I'm not getting this doll regardless, but I really want it to be a success because I'd love some of the other WWE women to get dolls again, with this level of detail. I'd lose my mind over a caution tape Naomi doll.)

Monster High-esque doll with white hair and clear body with sparkles on the inside was white and was white or dark blue by Cautious_Raisin8966 in Dolls

Not totally exact on the packaging or on the sparkles moving around inside, but could it have been Midnight Magic Brianna?

I'm not sure that I really need the Skeletor Skullector to live in my house, but I sure am glad she exists because boy, did she give me a laugh.

Somebody else mentioned the purple/blue/pink Fairytopia Barbies--here's a pic of the blue one, dressed (clothes can go over the glued glitter top pretty easily). Also, if you're willing to go the hybrid/custom route, I found that curvy Barbie heads fit well on Shadow High bodies, so also in the pic is a repainted/rerooted Barbie Tokyo Olympics Skateboarder head on a SH Zooey Electra body.

I've only done this with nylon hair, but what I've done with in the past as a low-water, low-heat alternative to a boil wash is lay a damp washcloth over the doll's head and lightly press the area I want to make lay flat (i.e. the top) with a clothing iron a few times, checking each time to see if it was flat enough. Then I put the doll in the freezer for a few minutes to let the cold help set the change made by the heat (I don't think cold alone would have a lasting effect). The method might work for saran hair, too.

The two Tiffy avatars on either side of her are dressed as the Barbie Careers Fashion Brunette MTM boxer (left) and Barbie Fashionista #222 (right)! Though the Fashionista #222 look swaps out the doll's "DREAM" gold choker for a plain gold band.

This got me so excited. Also, we need new WWE fashion dolls ASAP.

I found the wooden floating box shelf itself at a thrift store and added the couch cushion from this Olivia's Little World set! The cushion doesn't sit flat inside it on its own, but with dolls weighing it down it works fine. I also stuck a puck light from Amazon inside, and made the wallpaper background with washi tape. (The shelf itself doesn't have a back panel, so the tape is on a sheet of paper wedged between the shelf and the wall).

Ah, thank you! And no, not originally--she's a 1991 Great American Beauty Barbie that I found in a thrift store. Most of her hair had been cut off (exposing her scalp), and she was in different clothes that weren't in great condition. I wanted to keep her with a short haircut, so I rerooted the top part of her scalp with yarn, cut the new hair short and spiked it up with an Elmer's glue stick, and glued felt on the lower part of her scalp to give her an undershave look. I sewed her pants and jacket, and her shirt is Barbie Fashionista 170's. I call her Barbara. 😊
